Had dinner with my wife here. It's been about 10 years since I've eaten here. The Decore has changed and the food has stayed original, interesting and delicious. It's so refreshing to go to a restaurant that is bold enough to leave chicken wings and and other "standard" items off of the menu. I had the chicken coconut lime infused... More

How have I not been eating at Zona's every night!? Chris is an amazing chef and such a nice guy too. He has created the taste in food that creates a symphony of flavor in your mouth; the very pleasant server lady called it a party in your mouth and it is true. My friend had the coconut lime lasagne... More

Went here on a quiet Sunday night in January. The menu is quite eclectic, with influence from Japan, Thailand, India, and the Mediterranean. I think it's one of those good restaurants to go to if you're with a group who all have different tastes and preferences. I had their signature avocado caesar salad and lamb curry. While I could have... More

It was my first time to Zona's... the atmosphere is a bit unusual (an odd combination of mountain + circus + bistro/cafe)... the service was just average... the food was average and a bit over-priced for what you get. I'm not opposed to going back (I did like the variety on the menu), but my first preference will be to... More

We really enjoyed our evening meal at Zonas. It had been a number of years since we were last there and we pleasantly surprised by the renovations carried out. We started with the homemade hummus which was more than adequate for two. I had the Mongolean lamb curry which was excellent. It contained plenty of lean meat and was very... More

I went to Zonas with a party of four as it had been recommended to us by one of the local residents. We weren't disappointed. To begin, you walk into Zonas and it has the feel that it was once a house, converted into a restaurant, The atmosphere/decor was is fun, eclectic and unique....much more interesting than any chain restaurant.... We enjoyed our dinner on the patio at Zona's. Be sure to order their yummy caesar salad. My husband loved his chicken lasagna and I enjoyed the Phuket Prawns. Their chocolate pecan pie is delicious and should not be missed - we shared a piece.

We went as a party of 10. The food is a fusion of Mediterranean, Indian, Asian and was excellent. The yogurt with maple syrup and toasted almonds is not only relatively healthy but very tasty and refreshing. I had the red ginger coconut bassa Phuket which was done very well and I was too full to finish. My husband had... More

What a great treat to eat food at a Restaurant , where the entire dish does not come from the fridges of a Cisco or Gordan Food Services truck. The quality of the food is really good, great atmosphere and the service is always friendly. This is one of our favorite hang out spots in Canmore. They know how to... More

We loved our meal. My dairy intolerant partner had the lamb curry and I (a vegetarian) had the mushroom strudel. Both were delicious. Portion sizes were perfect, food was hot and attractively presented. For dessert, I had the chocolate pecan pie which was one of the best I've ever had - focus was on the pecans - not on a... More
