This place is a good option for groups that are looking for decent contemporary food that isn't too pricey. They have their own brewery with some good beer options--Beavertail Raspberry Ale beer is excellent. Food is pretty good--mostly your standard pub fare with some interesting options like the Bison burger. This place tends to get busy so you'll often find... More

It is a micro brewery and very noisy. My hamburger was OK but the side caesar salad was one of the worst I have ever had. Service was fair. The vanilla gelato with chocolate sauce was the best part of the meal.

Sorry for the title in caps must have had too much coffee this morning. My wife and I always like to visit the GP when we come to Canmore. It was the first place we have visited when we first traveled to Canmore. They brew their own beer and it's very good. Be sure to ask the server which is... More

Food was good, service good, but the inside, versus the patio, was very loud and noisy. Excellent local beer offered, so that's a must try.

We drove down Main St and stopped here for dinner. The place is noisy and crowded. I had the lettuce dick roll, had to request more lettuce since they only brought out 2 little pieces. It was okay, dark meat with some small veggies and a very salty sauce. Hubby had a burger that was large and nothing special Service... More

The couple times we've stopped into the paw the service had been average, which is fine. It's a put type place and Canmore has been having staffing issues. The beer is above average with a wide variety. I'm not a huge rasberry ale guy, but there's is the best I've tried. The appies we've had were all very good. Nothing... More

My husband, his mother and I went for late lunch in Saturday, Sept 6/14. We were seated inside and it took about 5 minutes before our waitress came by to ask if we wanted anything to drink I asked for a sample of the raspberry beer which I got and then when I ordered a full glass, it didn't come.... This restaurant is in my opinion just the same as the average burgerrestaurant. Although they have very good beer, the food is average of taste. We had a small Ceasar Salad which was just okay. The buffalo burger I had was okay. Also the chicken bites my wife had were average. I think prices are too high for this kind... More

The atmosphere is OK if you're outside. We were upstairs so not a lot to look at. The hostess didn't seem very interested in much; she had a rather cool attitude. The servers were very friendly, but the service was incredibly slow. By the time we got our food (my wife and I ordered poutines, mine with duck), they were... More

We entered Canmore looking for a place for lunch and Grizzly Paw had a great looking patio with plenty of customers so we decided to give it a shot. When I saw the menu I was shocked to see the prices and commented to my girlfriend that the "Canadian Classic Burger" at $!6.00 did not show any sides with it.... More
