We were up the Sulphur Mountain with the gondola. The Summit Cafe is beautifully perched high up enabling each visitor with a good view when seated along the window sides as well as the open deck picnic tables. I was quite disappointed with the quality of the burgers, small few bits of veggie packs that were priced without thought. $2.50... More

Great food with a Mexican flare to breakfast - hell yeah! Atmosphere is cozy and very sociable, lots of times in the early mornings you'll be seeing locals coming to get fueled up before they head out to do a big day hike, mountain climbing etc The only downside to this place is the wait time due to its popularity,... We were the first people in. We had to wait for the grills to warm up. The employees were very friendly and offered coffee while we waited. Our breakfast were served. Standard stuff but the hash browns were amazing. I really liked the home town feel to the restaurant!

Hearty breakfast that doesn't feel like lead afterward, that's the mark of a good meal. I don't know if I was jaded after the horrible experience I had the previous day at the hotel. I'll certainly be coming back for breakfast in the future. Be warned though, this place gets busy, so arriving after 9 will mean a wait to... More

After reading other reviews (on this and other websites) we decided to give The Summit Cafe a try for breakfast one morning, while we were on a recent trip to Canmore, Alberta. The cafe is very small and extremely crowded...there is no room between the tables, so you will be constantly bumped into by people trying to squeeze into their... More

The staff is super friendly and the food is amazing! Definitely a great spot to hit before going skiing or going for a hike! Their homemade granola bars are to die for too! Like the title says, it's our favorite and will be going back.

Such a great breakfast place! The service was great and the price was reasonable. The food was amazing. We had a the breakfast burrito and the juevos rancheros. Huge portions that were so tasty.

My boyfriend and I stopped off to eat here on our way back from a weekend in lake Louise. We ordered and then stood around waiting for a table, which came up quite quickly considering how busy they were. Once we were seated 20 minutes had passed then 30 and I noticed that people after us had received their food.... More

We went for breakfast after seeing the Cafe in the TV during the Olympics. A fab selection to choose from, and loved the Breakfast Burrito. We also had mex eggs. You need to be here early to beat all of the locals to get a table. We will be back again before we leave Canmore.
