This is a lovely French bakery. The baked goods are delicious if not just a tad expensive ($8.50 for a small cake) The croissants were the real thing, as good as you would find in France.

This is a must for lunch, coffee or to buy a delicious treat. The bakery is beautifully designed and has a true "French" feel it. Everything about this bakery is delightful. If you go don't miss your opportunity to get a loaf or two of their FANTASTIC bread!

I enjoyed this beautiful bakery a couple years ago and am so thrilled it had reopened after the devastating flood last year. Just happened to be open a couple weeks.

We had a delicious ham and cheese croissant and a breakfast egg croissant (scrambled eggs, cheese and ham). The ham and cheese the best! Their coffee was also excellent. Now the bread, chocolate croissants and macaroons were unbelievable. We were not too fussy on the eclair. Would go there any time I am in Canmore.

The bakery offering the best baguettes and croissants in the Bow Valley re-opened on August 22nd. And, just as it was before the flood, everything on offer in the bakery is fantastic. Welcome back!

Le Fournil is back. Same location, brighter, more modern look. Great to see them back after a hard time with the 2013 floods. The bread, sandwiches and pastries are better than ever. Probably the best in town. Unfortunately the coffee was sub-par. I ordered a cappuccino, got a latte, and a "sorry we used the wrong cup". It was just... More

Sadly, this terrific little community hub was sunk by the Flood of 2013. I had hopes they would reopen but, alas, they have not. Submerging refrigerators and ovens in 18+ inches of water, rebuilding, staffing, and refurnishing the entire place with no incoming revenue must have been too much. A sad loss for the community. In the meantime, JK Bakery,... More

Was a fantastic little bakery. Unfortunately, they have not re-opened since the floods filled the place with water in June. Here's hoping they open their doors once again, but in the mean-time JK Bakery is a good alternative..

Guess the reviews on this place wasn't good enough to keep it open unless so good they had to expand as I drove by and it was closed. Must say was disappointed as was in the mood for some good sweets.
