I visit Le Fournil very often and can attest to the quality of the croissants and baked goods. I can't comment too much on the desserts/cakes but know many people who have been pleased. This isn't a cheap outing ($7.50 for a coffee and croissant) but time after time it continues to please. Grab a simple baguette with butter and... More

So French! Lovely breads, sandwiches and desserts. If you love French food this is a must! We shared a turkey sandwich with lettuce, cheese and cranberry/rosemary mayonnaise that, though light on meat, had such flavor - who cares? And the baguette was fantastic! We also had a cappuccino which was good, and a fantastic lemon pyramid and croissant for dessert.... More

If you enjoy French breads, pastries and the best in coffees this is as good as it gets! You may have to wait a while on busy weekends as unfortunately for you this gem been 'discovered'.

Amazing breads and croissants. Great cappuccino. Good service. Only downside was that it was not open every day we were in Canmore.

I rarely rave about baked goods and a $ 3.00 croissant; when I can buy as many as 6 at the grocery store for the same price hardly seems worthy of a mention. YET, this little establishment's croissant tasted EXACTLY like a croissant should ....and tasted as good as it looked. I have not had one as good as this... More

True French style baguette, and pastries, little on the pricey side but unique authentic French bakery.

Stopped in for treat and was wowed. Best cappuccino and wonderful pastries. I hear the chocolate croissant are to die for. Not surprisingly, they were gone, but the lemon tart was very good

Biting into one of Le Fournil's buttery, flakey croissants takes me right back to Paris. There are a lot of other splendid looking pastries and I hear content sighs from the customers who are eating them, but so far I have only eyes (and stomach) for those delicious warm croissants!

Delicious real butter pastries, tea, coffee, breads and sandwiches. Everything is made fresh with real ingredients. Delicate taste, but oh, so worth it! You don't chow down here, you must savour every bite! I cannot say I disliked anything to eat or drink in this place, however, if you want quality you have to pay the price for it. For... More
