We were coming back from a weekend in Jasper and having heard of this place, we checked the website. It says permanently closed and so does Google. Well, I can say that they're still open, we're apologetic about the website and we had the ham croissant. Food was good, friendly people, and a nice bright atmosphere.

So glad this bakery has re-opened. We missed trying it on a previous trip through Canmore while it was closed, so were determined to try it this time around. We weren't disappointed. Raspberry danish was the best I have ever had, anywhere. Also was extremely happy with my coffee. The boys with me had ham and cheese pastries that were... More

This is a lovely French bakery. The baked goods are delicious if not just a tad expensive ($8.50 for a small cake) The croissants were the real thing, as good as you would find in France.

This is a must for lunch, coffee or to buy a delicious treat. The bakery is beautifully designed and has a true "French" feel it. Everything about this bakery is delightful. If you go don't miss your opportunity to get a loaf or two of their FANTASTIC bread!

I enjoyed this beautiful bakery a couple years ago and am so thrilled it had reopened after the devastating flood last year. Just happened to be open a couple weeks.

We had a delicious ham and cheese croissant and a breakfast egg croissant (scrambled eggs, cheese and ham). The ham and cheese the best! Their coffee was also excellent. Now the bread, chocolate croissants and macaroons were unbelievable. We were not too fussy on the eclair. Would go there any time I am in Canmore.

The bakery offering the best baguettes and croissants in the Bow Valley re-opened on August 22nd. And, just as it was before the flood, everything on offer in the bakery is fantastic. Welcome back!

Le Fournil is back. Same location, brighter, more modern look. Great to see them back after a hard time with the 2013 floods. The bread, sandwiches and pastries are better than ever. Probably the best in town. Unfortunately the coffee was sub-par. I ordered a cappuccino, got a latte, and a "sorry we used the wrong cup". It was just... More
