Well, our hotel recommended the place, I doubt they have eaten here. We started out with fish tacos which I won't lie...were AWESOME! The spring rolls were good, nothing overly special. The server howerever.../sigh. She came outside and her comment was, 'Oh I knew there was something I should be doing'. That was in reference to NOT coming to serve... More

Great food when keeping in mind that it is a 'spin-off' of traditional Thai cuisine. Thai green curry was amazing. For me, the pad thai was a little too far from what you typically see in Thailand, but for others, it may be a big hit!!! Spring rolls were great, but the crab cakes took the show for me!!!

We've been to hundreds of Thai restaurants, Thai it up obviously was not serving the way of Thai food should be. Tomyam (it came with noodle) was good, but pad thai was disappointing, too much of gravy lack of spices/basil & nuts and no chilli powder was added. However, add-on chicken was pretty awesome, tasted like satay and made perfect... More

Looking for something different from the usual Bar & Grill scene of Canmore, my wife and I sought Thai food. Hoping for a nice sit-down meal, we were a little disappointed to find that Thai It Up was a dingy looking place with a non-private front to a main street. Regardless, the appeal of Thai food was too much, so... More

Ten of us went for dinner on May 2, 2014. Made a reservation one hour beforehand and they were all ready for us (it's not a big place). Both the service and the meals were excellent. It's not spicy Thai food but they will bring you hot sauce on the side so you can spice it up as much as... More

We are big lovers of Thai food and this restaurant's menu whilst small - delivers well on taste. The food whilst good is not the strong bold flavors that Thai enthusiasts might be familiar with. Rather, it is mild flavors which I Imagine would have wider appeal. If you like Thai food, without the strength of bold powerful flavors, but... More

When you walk into "Thai it Up" it is not overly fancy in decor, but the setting is comfortable, and the staff are well trained and friendly. I made a note to my spouse on how helpful and friendly our waitress was. I had the Thai Noodles with Tofu and my wife had the Butter Chicken. We both thought the... More

This restaurant has been newly expanded with a pleasing ambience. The food is delicious and nicely presented. It is an excellent restaurant choice for and informal meal.

Restaurant is well located and averaged sized. Decor is okay. Music level too loud. Service was great, attentive. Menu is a bit limited, view it online. Ordered the satay chicken skewers, at bit dry. The Tom Yum salad was fresh and the pad thai was moist and just the right heat. Fresh cilantro. Free WIFI. The only complaint about the... More
