This cozy bistro nestled at the foot of the three sisters mountains is a welcoming place to go. The coffee's locally roasted and the food is really fresh and delicious; whether you're meeting up for a healthy lunch after an adventure in the mountains, a candlelit dinner on the weekend, or if your even looking to organize a party. I've come here a couple times for lunch and have enjoyed the food, but the servings are small for the price. The owner is originally from France and cooks great french food. I really liked the meatball sandwich and pulled pork. The specials are also usually good. Good service and nice staff. The wine store beside it is owned by... More

Attending nearby clinic, in desperate need of morning coffee on a regular Tuesday morning. Staff inside sizing, door open but was told they are closed. Couldn't even get a cup of coffee to go. Disappointed. Caffeine withdrawal.

We are truly sorry if you couldn't get your amount of caffeine needed last morning, but Tuesday is our ONLY day off and we were actually in a meeting when you walked in, we hope to see you again any days but Tuesdays. Sincerely, Anthony Chef/Owner More

The Market Bistro is our #1 favorite Canmore restaurant. Chef Anthony's weekend specials are truly delectable. The freshness and quality of the meals are tops.

Hubby and I decided to take a drive to Canmore on a lovely fall day for lunch and a mountain drive. A Canmore resident suggested the Market Bistro is we wanted to get away from the crowds of downtown. We were pleasantly surprised to find this little hidden gem. We sat on the patio sipping wine and beer soaking in... More

The staff were friendly, the place is nice and relaxed with a welcoming patio. We had two different soups (vegetable and the tomato), both were good as was the pulled pork sandwich. Portions are not huge, but lunch sized just right. The regular coffee was very weak, my husband then ordered a cappuccino and that had to be sent back... More

I came to this place because it was advertised to have the best cappucino. I had the worse cappucino ever instead, and it costs $4 for a small cup.

Hot and wet/mushy best describes almost all of the food items served here. This along with inattentive staff make it a must miss for this "Bistro". Would NOT recommend, much better options down in town. On top of it all many items are just overpriced for what you get.

Tried this place after reading the TripAdvisor reviews. Called to make a reservation. Person mentioned there was a band in that night so it would be busy. Was able to make a rso. Upon arriving and after ordering drinks we were told 1 drink each was included in the $10 cover charge. No problem for me but would have been... More

Heard a review on the radio so decided to stop on our way through town for lunch. The weather was great so we ate outside to enjoy the scenery. We shared a pizza the super thin crust was amazing. But the lemon tart made the meal. Full thin slices of lemon, rind and all. Tart and sweet at the same... More
