I genuinely wish I could write a better review of this place. The decor and atmosphere are absolutely phenomenal. The staff are friendly enough, and pleasant to deal with. That being said, this is certainly more of a restaurant as opposed to a pub which would warrant higher quality grub. The menu is decent, certainly friendly and not nearly as... More

Went in twice during our stay in Canmore. The stuffed yorkshire pudding and the shepherd's pie were ok. Would return when back in the area.

Had a meal at the bar. Staff were great, wine was very good, I had a Malbec, I think. The meal was not as good as I'd been led to expect, but tasty and adequate. Atmosphere charming. Family friendly.

My partner and I have been to the georgetown many times, love the english style pub, this year, food not so good. burnt yorkshires, hard as rocks, waitress had no clue what to do when i asked for new unburnt ones. said they "had always come like that " and walked away... not last year!! It used to be really... More

The Georgetown Inn feels like home. Good staff, consistently good food. Nothing gourmet, but you won't be disappointed with good quality pub style food.

Dined at 3 really good restaurants in Canmore but this was our favorite. The stuffed Yorkshire pudding was delish, service terrific in a cozy pub setting.

Definitely a quaint well decorated pub. It was very busy but, we were seated without a reservation for the evening meal. My wife ate here a couple of times in the spring and was totally satisfied. The menu is fairly extensive with mainly pub style offerings. I had the shepherds pie and my wife had the signature fish and chips.... More

The Georgetown Inn is a quaint, historic looking place. It has many old photographs of mountain climbers in the area, and lots of old climbing, skiing and mountain activity gear as decor. Being someone from the mountain and interested in history…I love it! The food is decent. the menu has a good selection of choices and the service is always friendly.... More

We had dinner two times, with good food in the pub. The first evening we had fish and chips, the specialty of the House. Tasty. The second night we ate spare ribs, also very tasty. It is, however, very busy and apparently you can not make a reservation.
