The decor was fun but the food was just nothing exciting. Good enough but I just expected better. I had the shepard's pie and it was alright. My husband had pork belly. We had an order of "pretzel bread" which was cold and not worth the effort.

Really good fish and chips. Only local beers on tap but that was fine by me. Wife's wings were a little overdone but they were still decent enough and the waiter ended up promo pricing it. Service was top notch and pricing was fair.

Breakfast was great on Canada Day. Enjoyed seeing the staff dressed up in Country Attire, and especially enjoyed seeing their children dressed up to ride in the Chuck Wagon.

We are regulars at this establishment. Love the patio in the summer & the dim cozy fireplace in the winter & the food year round. Have a hard time ordering anything but the fish & chips, altho it's pricey it's worth it. Second fav is the beef & Yorkie it's also real real satisfying. I've pretty much tried most things... More

Very welcoming and interesting pub. The food is hearty and tasty. Excellent portions, you wont leave hungry! The staff are very friendly and engaging. It's a beautiful inn to both eat and stay at.

The Georgetown Pub is situated in a very nice old Inn here in Canmore Alberta. I don't drink but a friend told me to order the Club Sandwich and I did. The price was a great value for the amount of food I received. The waitress was excellent and very knowledgeable. I will return to the Georgetown Inn Pub for... More

Pub style food in a restaurant favored by locals, which makes the athmosphere friendly. Nice historic decor.

After reading the menu in the Canmore dining guide and decided to give it a try. Happy we did! The Shepard's Pie was really great and was a hefty serving. The traditional ale was good, too. My husband got the fish and chips - were a bit dry and not as good as my meal. The waiter was really helpful... More

Fun menu, nice british pub style. Featuring fish and chips and many beef dishes (roast beef, stuffed yorkshire pudding, stew). In the end, all the beef dishes were exactly the same thing, with the same gravy and all were heavy. Even the beers didn't thrill. But nice easy place with friendly service and good atmosphere. Breakfast is a better choice... More

I hate reading long reviews, but in this case I MUST tell you our experience. We tried the Georgetown Pub based on a flyer they distributed that stated that they had the "BEST FISH & CHIPS in Bow Valley 4 years running". My wife and I both ordered the Halibut fish & chips. The crust was over cooked and burnt... More
