Great atmosphere and staff, good beef dip, but absolutely terrible nachos

We liked everything about the place, cool atmosphere, really helpful and welcoming staff and good beef dip and beer, but the nachos were horrible. We eat a lot of nachos and frankly have rarely had such lame nachos, which consisted of a bunch of chips with a small amount of melted cheese and hard... read more

After trudging around Bow Valley Provincial Park, we decided to try food close to our hotel. As promised, the food was excellent. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was fantastic (very friendly). If you still have room after Yorkshire Pudding, try the sticky toffee pudding for dessert--it's heavenly.

Just stopped in for a quick Cesar before supper. We Googled "best cesars in canmore" and this was the first place that showed up. The we're awesome! They use Montreal steak spice to salt the rims and it was an awesome change. Thanks again!

Interesting mountain adventure history ambiance and English style menu food. Chicken Pot Pie and pastry were some of the best I have tasted. Restaurant was filled and clearly a locals favourite.

We finally were able to visit this wonderful restaurant for lunch. We have heard so much about the atmosphere and the food and we were very pleased. My husband ordered the fish and chips and I ordered a salad and they were both very good. We have heard the shepherd's pie is awesome too. Next visit !!!

I live in Calgary, and my husband and I decided to go to Canmore for the day. We randomly chose the Georgetown Pub for lunch, and are so glad we did. We both had the stuffed Yorkshire Pudding with veggies and mashed potatoes. I can eat a lot, and this was a very generous plate! The staff was friendly, and... More

Had two suppers. Roast beef and yorkshire pudding was great. I would not order the stew again. Gravy was too soupie.

it advertises the best fish and chips in Canmore so we were game to try it out. Fish and chips okay a bit pricey for pub grub at $24.00 for a 2 piece dinner. We also enjoyed a chef salad to share with 2 people. Service was very good and friendly. Average food with above average service.
