Patio time

Very hot day when we visited this place so we sat outside on patio. Beer was good and cold and staff friendly. Has the basa fish and chips. Very very good. Worth the stop.

There was a sign there that said it was the Miner's Lamp Pub. Our waitress was very friendly and the staff people running this pub are: in their 30's and truly give off a sense of "Alberta 30-something" entrepreneurial spirit. That's refreshing. This gave the pub a second star from a one star experience. That's the good news. TripAdvisor's Certificate... More

I ordered the monti-cristo , its was so dry and has very little ham or eggs dip on it , not what I was hoping for , I pointed it out to the waitress whom also thought it looked pretty bad , asked if I wanted something else , seeing how my girlfriend had just got her plate of the... More

Had some quinoa salad for dinner (sorry can't remember the name) and their famous French toast next day for breakfast and in both cases it was fantastic. reasonably priced in wonderful environment. Service was really good, fast and polite. I can speak for the entire family of four that we ALL enjoyed our meals.

Are you freaking kidding me??? I can't believe the good ratings for this place. I would give this place zero stars if possible. I can't remember the last time I had a meal this bad. The steak sandwich was charred. The coleslaw looked about a week old - I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. The chicken wings I... More

Still in keeping with previous years The Georgetown has the lightest and tastiest Fish and Chips in Canmore. Great Deck for warm days and evenings, walking distance to almost anything in town.

I came here looking for a good lunch and had not been surprised that it met and exceeded what others had wrote. I ate a hearty lunch, not the soup as I am not a Carrot soup fan as I have issues with the soup. I had a Vegetarian Burger Fries Salad and an Ice Cream sundae. Could not say... More

Classic British Pub style restaurant. Nice variety of dishes on the menu. Best fish and chips I've had in ages. I was traveling with notoriously picky eaters and everyone really enjoyed their meal.

Enjoyed a Sunday evening special here, wonderful service and food was delicious. Some interesting items on the menu, enough to whet everyone's pallet. Plenty to look at on the walls to soak in for a visit. Wold go back again for sure.
