Good food, very slow service

We were a party of 5 dining on a Tuesday evening and restaurant was only half full- service was very slow & seemed dis-interested, never came back to check if we needed water refills, etc. The bright spot was the fish & chips and shephard's pie were very flavorful and prices were fairly reasonable... read more

I had read in many advertisements that the fish and chips at this establishment had been voted best in Canmore for numerous years. So we decided to have our dinner there just to experience this "fantastic" fish. The first surprise was the look and feel - it seemed unkept (drink coasters on the floor, etc) and old. The second surprise... More

Great breakfasts! Some typical British items. But you can also get basic bacon & eggs. Wait staff on the ball.

Had high expecatations for this pub but it is in desperate need of an overhaul. The covering on all the chairs appears to be filthy as is the carpet throughout the pub and the back stairs up to the hotel rooms. The coffee at breakfast was not poor and the omelette my husband had was very overlooked and served with... More

Staff very friendly at this quaint pub with interesting decor. Food was excellent & great portion sizes. They are well known for their "Yorkie" which is a Yorkshire pudding stuffed with beef & a great gravy. Miner's salad was also very good.

I eat at the Georgetown Pub a few times every year and have come to like it much. during the warmer time of the year, the patio is the place to have a fine draft beer and in the fall there is no better place than being inside with one of the many choices of great food. On my last... More

We had breakfast here for the second time, and enjoyed it as much as the 1st. They have an extensive menu of breakfast items, and also offer an awesome homemade rye bread. Everything was cooked as requested, the coffee was excellent and the service very good. Will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our evening at this pub. The staff is very friendly. The food is great. The stuffed Yorkshire Pudding was fabulous as was the halibut and chips. Had a beverage there in the afternoon which was very enjoyable as well. Typical English pub style.

Very hot day when we visited this place so we sat outside on patio. Beer was good and cold and staff friendly. Has the basa fish and chips. Very very good. Worth the stop.
