Great old fashioned pub

Excellent food, great atmosphere, good service, temperature a little on the cold side if the log fire not lit

Nice little pub with a good selection of beers and pretty good food. Large portions and great service make this the perfect place to end a day of activities in the mountains!

Stopped here for breakfast before heading home and was very pleased with our meal! I don't really like breakfast so I had the egg sandwich and it was great (and the hash browns were super yummy). My boyfriend had one of there specialty French toasts and loved it. The staff was so nice, and the cute antiques made the atmosphere... More

The Georgetown Pub had a very strange smell. It was not a pleasant smell so this put me off straight away. It could do with some decorating too. However the service and food were of good quality. Limited choice if you are gluten free but the did have gluten free rolls and bread.

The ambience of the pub was nice - lots of great pictures showing parts of Canmore and area and the people who have lived and worked there. The staff were really friendly. But the food left much to be desired. Two of our party ordered the 'award winning' fish and chips and were disappointed that the halibut was chewy and... More

We stayed across the parking lot in the Grande Rockies Resort and visited the Georgetown Inn for a nice, big lunch. This turned out to be the best part of our Canmore visit. Most of our party ordered the Clubhouse and fish and chips. Everyone raved about the food. We sat right by the fireplace and enjoyed a warm, cozy... More

I genuinely wish I could write a better review of this place. The decor and atmosphere are absolutely phenomenal. The staff are friendly enough, and pleasant to deal with. That being said, this is certainly more of a restaurant as opposed to a pub which would warrant higher quality grub. The menu is decent, certainly friendly and not nearly as... More
