I would never have thought that I could find a cool little English pub in Canmore. It does not look like anything special from the outside, but the food is pretty darn good. I had the Shepard's pie. It was so good that I almost licked the plate. One of my companions had the fish (haddock) and chips. The haddock... More

Visited this place on the first night after arriving to Canada from London. We were seated quite fast and food was served quickly. It was nice prepared and tasted good. Service was good as well. Would surely visit this place again.

My husband and I stayed at the Georgetown Inn, and had breakfast and dinner at the Pub. Service was a bit slow at breakfast, but there was only one person working. Our French toast was really good. For dinner my husband had the Fish and Chips and he said they were incredible, and he wishes he had two pieces instead... More

Food was so good we ate all five meals of our weekend here. Waffles are incredible, as is the English touch like Scotch eggs.

The feeling is one of friendliness, nice background music, food is fantastic, ceaser drinks are out of this world, but the BIG draw has to be the FISH AND CHIPS. We had Damian serve us, he is from the UK and outstanding server. He could open a school and teach servers how to be the best they can be, because... More

Had a great meal at the Georgetown Pub. The stuffed yorkshire pudding was huge! I managed to eat it all though. Everyone that was with us enjoyed their meals. The grilled cheese that my 3 year old ordered looked really good as well with thick bread and real cheese. The restaurant was very busy but the servers did their best... More

A lovely place to come for home-cooked fare at a reasonable price. Came 2 nights running; the first just for a drink & the second for dinner. Fish & chips were fantastic. Very close (literally across the road) if staying at the Canadian Rockies Chalets which is self-catering. Only downside is that half the drinks on the menu (especially ciders)... More
