Breakfast was ok what we had. We were with a group. I thought the omelet needed more flavour but maybe a personal opinion. Two others in the group the sausage was missing from what they ordered. The server was great!

The clientele is mixed. We were nicely dressed and nicely behaved. Fortunately the us the noisy and messy child across the aisle soon left us in peace. I suggest a later reservation time to avoid families with young kids. The food was okay. The waiter, Wayne, was very good and given the limited choices in Canmore this was pretty good... More

Service is attentive and both the menu and the wine list are interesting and tasty. The three course chateaubriand for two is fantastic and a great example of Alberta beef at its finest.

My friend and I took our daughters to Habitat for dinner. We had the oysters, beets and crab cakes to start; I would recommend all of them. We had the house wine and mojito; again I would recommend both. The staff were pleasant, knowledgeable and made the experience one to remember for out kids. Habitat is a must visit for... More

My husband and I were so pleased with the service, the table (cozy booth) we were sat in, and the meal. We did get seated 1/2 hour past our reservation, but we were waiting in the lounge and very comfortable. They also checked in quite often to see if we were ok with waiting, as they wanted to place us... More

After a blue sky day skiing at Sunshine Village we were ready for a similarly exquisite dining experience. It's Canmore Uncorked Food & Drink Festival month and we chose Habitat tonite. We hit it right! When I called to make a reservation, I was asked if there were dietary concerns. "I'm gluten intolerant", I told the him. He said he... More

Habitat Restaurant & Bar is located in the Grande Rockies Resort Hotel. Scallops with vanilla parsnip puree - interesting! Tuna ceviche with mint - yum!

We had one night in Canmore and I'm so glad we ate here. One of the reasons was the menu. The other was the Thursday night special - bring your own wine and no corkage fee. Hubby and I shared the crab cake appetizer which was delicious. Lots of crab, very little filler and the pea shoot salad was lovely.... More
