All the poutines of the rainbow. I got a smoked meat sandwich and shared a Mexican poutine with my partner. Had a small food coma afterwards. Did not regret.

Took my inlaws here who are from Montreal and they were very excited! The poutine is great and they loved that they had other authentic montreal food like steamers! Delectable treat!

Does not look like much from the outside. However they probably have the best burger for a great price I've ever had and their poutine selection is great and tastes AMAZING! If your passing through Canmore this should be on your stop list.

La Belle Patate can be very crowded at times, and is well loved in Canmore. That said, folks from Quebec and Eastern Ontario may be unaccustomed to the crispier nature of the fries here... we went three times, each time asking for the fries to be less crispy than the previous time and they were still more crunchy than we'd... Friendly staff, great food and a great locals spot. For lunch or supper with friends or family make sure you check it out when in Canmore.

The best poutine I've found in Alberta. The portions are large so you can get a lot for your money, the largest size poutine with all the trimmings is $16.75, all the others are similar or cheaper. The food was prepared in about 15 minutes so don't expect fast-food wait times, it takes a little longer than that. The service... More

I used to love this restaurant, along with the rest of Canmore locals and tourists alike. However, since the new owners, customer service has gone down hill. I have eaten here over the years and have always loved the food, no matter what the price. I have had some unsettling experiences there lately so I thought I'd check out their... More

This place does feature Authentic Quebec Poutine, but be prepared to pay! Growing up in Quebec I am accustomed to paying $1 for a steamed hotdog and maybe $3-4 for a poutine. This place will cost you about 3X that price. Also not enough seats. It's located in an industrial part of Canmore in a strip mall. The restaurant has... More
