Some friends took us to the Iron Goat recently. I was very pleased with the service we got for a large group of 14 people. The meat loaf is the best I have ever tasted. The beer selection is great too, with some delicious craft beers on tap. Next visit to Canmore will definitely include another visit here.

We had heard great things about this restaurant. The views are spectacular for sure, but the meal was mediocre at best. The guys enjoyed their lamb, but despite being informed that the arctic char was to be served medium rare it was overcooked to the point of dryness. My ribs were slathered in BBQ sauce. One can only assume that... More

We had reservations for our party of 12 but frankly, they made looking after all of us look effortless. The first duty was to hustle our American visitors out onto the patio for the view. The winter sun sets early in the Rockies and many pictures were snapped in the quickly fading light. On to our loft table and some... More

I was given a gift card to this restaurant as a 'perk' of a disappointing time share presentation. What a wonderful surprise! As you walk in to this railway themed pub you are greeted by the comforting smell of the huge wood burning fireplace. The floor to ceiling walls provide an awe inspiring view of the Rockies. The entree menu... More

Appetizers (Lamb) and dinner (Wild Game Meatloaf) were beyond exceptional. Professional, courteous and helpful staff. Beautiful building. Worth stopping at for dinner

All around Excellent. The service was quick and very helpful. Our server was very knowledge about the menu. She was very helpful in choosing a wine. The food was wonderful. Very generous portions. The prices are reasonable for the amount and quality of food one gets. We sat upstairs which I think might be a little quieter than on the... More

Not much more to say....this is the greatest view by far in the bow valley! Just went for drinks so I don't have much to review.

The food was great! We ate on the outdoor deck. It had snowed so a little chilly. They have outdoor heaters and even a few blankets to use. The beers were great too.

The view is super, the staff is friendly and the food is good. Try the duck wings. We tried more upscale dishes but people recommend their pizza too. I would suggest you try for reservations in high season of on the weekend but you can usually get a table with a brief wait.
