Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $20 corkage fee as well.

The food was great. The service not so great. The food was creative and all looked good as we watched it come out from the kitchen. We had the plato mixto first. Very nice, some great gems on the platter, although they were out of the elk salami, which sounds so good. The portobello mushroom with brie was very nice,... More

Savory, creative delicious cuisine. We had one of our best meals of the year here. The menu has something for everyone. Must haves are the beet raviolis and the lamb pops! Our waiter Roberto was a master at his profession and the host was very welcoming. We even sat next to a local couple who helped steer us in the... More

After visiting a couple of hundred of restaurants a first for me; a waitress who told us her tip wasn't big enough and began arguing with us! Absolutely disgraceful..A shame since the food was good and the potion size excellent. Perhaps she doesnt understand what a gratuity is? It is a gift or favour and is always at the customers... Dear Cantona, We are disappointed to hear that this has happened to you at Tapas and this situation and experience is not the culture and level of service that we condone or encourage. I can only apologize on behalf of Tapas and we will discuss this with our team. If by chance you are still in the area I would... More

We were hungry and looking for place so we decided to give this place a try. Small, but cosy inside with live music on Wedsnedays and right in town. We never had Spanish Tapas, but we went for it. I have to say the food was delicious. We had 4 different dishes to share, but the total price was a... More

This little restaurant in Camore is a gastronomical delight. Everything we chose was a taste buds dream. Lovely venue and outstanding service. This was not our first visit and one often wonders if the food will live up to your expectations. It did. FYI, the Sangria is delicious.

when you are european you should not go there, because tapas are normally much cheaper in europe, but the food comes pretty close to spanish tapas.

Thank you for dining at Tapas and for giving us your feedback. It should be noted that our Tapas are generally two to three times the size of a European Tapas or Spanish Tapas and the majority of hot tapas meat and seafood items have approximately six ounces of protein. Kindest regards, James Kendal GM More

We had a quick dinner at this restaurant. The variety of dishes was excellent and every one was delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Only complaint was that we were too full to have dessert!
