Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $20 corkage fee as well.

Great restaurant!

My wife and had an early dinner here last year and were very impressed. Thee food was fantastic, my wife was very impressed and this is a rarity. Like all tapas places in Canada the final bill climbs quickly but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I've never had Tapas before. My husband described it to me as best he could, but the experience i had defied description. The food was amazing to say the least. We started with a meat & cheese platter. Phenomenal! After that we just kept picking things that appealed to us. And the wine?! Well it was amazing as well. My... More

We thought we would try this place as they have an interesting menu. We ordered the Date and Blue cheese bonbons to start off. They were AMAZING! The flavour changes as you chew them. We then had the Plato Mixto (meat & cheese plater) this was pretty good. Then we ordered the Seared Scallops which were also good. Last we... More

If you love tapas fare you will love this restaurant. The food was wonderful and the staff is incredibly friendly and chatty. We were on vacation in Banff NP and staying in Canmore. Our host at the B&B recommended Tapas otherwise we might not have found it. It is quite small and reservations are evidently needed, however we walked in... More

Having had tapas in Spain, where the atmosphere adds to the flavour and dining experience, I have to say that the food here was on par with some of the better Spanish restaurants I visited. Our server was great, knew the menu well, and had some very good suggestions for us. We ordered the sangria, caesar salad, heirloom carrots, chicken... More

This is the second time that we've visited Canmore and the the second time we've eaten at Tapas. The menu is varied, fun, and the food is fantastic. There were seven of us and we shared all of the dishes. The wine selection is good and the sangria (by the pitcher) is wonderful.

Loved this cute place. Especially the live guitar on Friday or Wednesday evenings depending on the season. Best to email in advance to check. The servers were fantastic and food even better. One of the best little Tapas places outside of Sevilla seguramente! Muy rico!

From the moment you enter thus restaurant you are aware that this will be a special place. When James the owner greets you offering a choice of outdoor or indoor seating you get the feeling that he cares about your welfare and enjoyment. The menu covers virtually every facet of culinary arts with small (not too small )dishes artfully plated... More

Nice selection and great service. It was our first time visiting this type of restaurant. Staff was very friendly and super helpful. The Sangria was very refreshing.
