Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $20 corkage fee as well.

The food prices are very high for the very small portion received on each dish. Quality and quantity are just not there for the price. Service was also very poor. The portions are rediculously small and several dishes are required if you want to be full.

Our second visit was just as memorable as our first. Not cheap but well worth the money. All the dishes are for sharing, we found 5 different dishes were all we could handle. The portobello mushroom was outstanding!

I went here with my hiking buddies on a trip to the Rockies and read about it in a binder in the condo we were staying in. It was right down the street, so we gave it a try. We tried about 8 different dishes, including both types of sangria. While I wouldn't recommend the sangria (more like straight fruit... More

You need a reservation, one of the best places I have eaten Spanish/Tapas. You need to order 2-3 per person, each and every dish is very tasty and nicely presented. This is a must visit if you are in Canmore or Banff.

A little off the beaten path, but well worth the extra half-block walk. Great (rich) food and attentive service! Bring your own wine (no corkage fee on Wednesday night) to enjoy with the small plates. Suggest having at least one non-rich plate to break things up a little. 5 plates for the two of us was plenty! Will return for... More

When you go, plan to eat Tapas. I know its obvious but after a few plates you over exceeded your moneys worth as they use the same spices for everything. But other than that its a good atmosphere and a fun evening out! Just watch your wallet because it empties FAST.

Although we went on a very busy night, service was good. For the most part, the food was fun and interesting. Note that this place is somewhat pricy so it is a good choice for a date night. Servings are mostly small so you'll need to order two or so dishes per person.

We liked the food here, especially the elk salami and tomato tostado. Service was good until our last dish, which took an unreasonably long time to come out of the kitchen. A few of the dishes were not the most interesting, but others were very good. We tended to prefer the cold dishes. If the weather is good, they have... More
