Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $20 corkage fee as well.

Great staff, even better meal!

We drove from Calgary to try Tapas a few weeks ago and were really blown away by how great the service and food was. It was one of the best meals we have all had in a while and it was hard to choose which dish was our favourite! The scallops, steak and the two mushroom dishes were fantastic and... read more

We've been long time fans of this restaurant and it never fails to impress. They seem to change up the menu fairly regularly and we always find a new favourite. This time it is the duck confit tacos but you can't go wrong with pretty much anything on the menu. Reservations are essential since it's always busy and a later... More

My husband and I just had another amazing dinner at one of our favourite restaurants in Canmore. James and his team always take great care of us.

When we travel through this area there have been a few places to eat that we usually visit. This time we are staying in Canmore a week so it gives us more time to check out places we have not been to. Tapas was highly recommended by the front desk at the hotel we are staying so we made a... More

I've been to Canmore several times and I finally found a place to go. Amazing food (although the portion is a bit smaller than other restaurants), unique atmosphere, and great service. I recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Canmore.

The food is good, there's a wide selection, and the ambience is great. This is a place to come with friends and have fun. What else needs saying? I don't know, but I need to get to one hundred characters.

I went to Tapas restaurant with a friend after a walking tour of Canmore, we were very tired and hungry so Walked into Tapas restaurant, the scene was very inviting with live music to go with it and better still meals can be shared with varieties to chose from. We enjoyed every moment spent in this restaurant. Staffs were great.

What a little diamond find this place is.....excellent service and the food is out of this world. They have a wonderful wine list and the staff are very knowledgeable about the wine they offer. This was our second time at Tapas and we will be sure to return next time! Thanks so much and keep up the excellent work!

Food & wine were great! It is a very romantic setting. It was quite pricey and took about 9 shared dishes for us a couple to have full tummy's.
