Oted most Romantic Restaurant in the Rockies, we are tucked off Main Street Canmore in a charming character house. Tapas offers the lively fusion of Spanish and Old World flavours created by our kitchen team. We have designed a menu of specialty dishes that are prepared to order from the freshest ingredients available. All stocks, sauces and desserts are made by our Chef Dan Purvis in house. Our menu offers gluten free and vegetarian options. Share several plates amongst friends in the intimate dining room with Spanish style murals and high back leather chairs. We also have an eclectic attic with slanted ceilings and low windows which is great for small parties. Don't forget to visit us in the summer where you can enjoy tapas on our Mediterranean- style deck with lovely al fresco ambiance. And most importantly, be sure to try our house made Sangria (white or red) or choose a lovely Spanish Cava or wine from our Wine Menu. Want to bring your own wine, we offer a $20 corkage fee as well.

Tapas dining was new to us, ordering plates of food to share. This is more than just dining, it is paced so that you and your companion(s) can visit, discuss the meal, and just enjoy your company. We normally rush through our meals so this was a great way to sit, visit, enjoy the music, the food, and the atmosphere.... More

A visit to this amazing place totally finished off our perfect weekend away in the wonderful Canmore. Never eaten here before and it exceeded all our expectations! The waiter, Glen was very knowledgable about all menu options, including the drinks. He was passionate about where he worked and ultimately where the food for his restaurant came from. The food was... More

A treat to be looked after by the attentive staff - good recommendations on wine and delectable offerings. Great ambiance for anyone looking for memorable and tasty night out in Canmore.

Tapas is amazing! It's really busy so you have to book in advance, but it's worth it. I don't mind spending more money on good food, and this is the case with this restaurant. It's a bit pricey, but the food is delicious!

We loved this sweet little spot- it is located in a former home that was floated down the river from Banff years ago. It is very quiet (we were fortunate enough to be upstairs in the attic), and the food and service were exceptional. It is really fun, as the food portions are small and interesting. This is great for... More

The food was good, the waitress was amazing and they gave us a free sample of their port wine as a celebration for our honeymoon. The wine was out of this world!!!! If you don't go here while you are in Canmore you are missing out. I will be back again with my husband for sure!!!

My wife and I had a rare night out without the kids and an opportunity to belatedly celebrate Valentines and there was really only one place we wanted to go or rather, return to - Tapas. We had a wonderful experience. We love the ambience of the place but the service was superb and the food and wine outstanding. The... More

So we just got back from Tapas and although the food was fantastic the waiter we had was questionable. I'm not sure if he was under the influence, however his ability and knowledge to serve wine was questionable. He made a fantastic recommendation on the wine but when served he brought the second bottle uncorked and poured it with wine... More
