Not the same...

We had been here several times in the past but had not been here in over a year. Since then the menu has changed a lot along with the ownership. We went for lunch on a Friday afternoon and the one waitress was literally running to keep up. There was a group of twelve plus a few others but she... read more

The Baron used to be my staff's go-to place for drinks and apples on a Friday afternoon. The menu was large and diverse, including many different drinks, and the patio was one of the best in Abby; large, sunny, quiet yet happening. I don't know if they changed owners, or what, but when I went here with friends the other... More

Too Bad. This place used to have interesting fare and was usually abuzz with people willing to make the drive out to the airport for the experience. But that was under the previous management. Now the place is deserted and the pub food kind of generic. Given the location it would still be OK to have some Deck Time and... More

We stopped by there for a late lunch after an event at Tradex. It was fairly quiet that day so we were able to chat over lunch and beverages. I ordered the clam chowder and was favourably impressed. It was nice and thick with a good portion of clams in it. The price was a it on the high end... More

Ever since the previous owner sold (Dean?) this has gone down the tubes. Removed all their unique meals (ribs with homemade cornbread) and replaced them with standard pub fare. Boring. Service is terrible and the place is vacant most of the time. Too bad. Maybe hire back the old chef/cook who had the great menu items and this place may... More

6 of us went for a dinner prior to attending the motorcycle show. The waitress was unable to tell us what type of wine they carried, took her a 1/2 hour to take our food order and an hour to get our meal served. The soup that two ordered was brought the same time as the main meal instead of... More

Food here is pretty good, however the owner/manager is not. There was only one server working when we were there. She was serving and bar tending. Witnessed the owner manager look at food on the pass thru and just walk past rather than spend the 2 minutes to deliver the food to help out the server.

I had heard good things about this place - however, on Saturday was extremely disappointed. I went as a group of four people. The waitress cleaned our table as we sat down at it (she said she had just gotten a rush of people - there were exactly 3 tables with customers at them when we got there). She brought... More

Because this food is terrible. And expensive when you consider their $16 "sandwiches" are served with poor meat on tasteless hot-dog buns. avoid this barren wasteland at all costs.

This place used to be a favorite of mine, until the most recent ownership took over earlier in 2014. It’s been pretty weak since then, but today pushed me over the edge. My brother and I grabbed a table and placed our order for a beef dip and a pulled pork sandwich. There were two other tables being served at... More
