Stuffed!!!

I tried the Friday night prime rib special and wow, was there ever a lot of food. I was really impressed with how the carrots were cooked. They weren't overcooked at all, nice flavor and texture. Keep it up!

I stop by The H more than a couple times a week for my relaxing after work beer and ribs/wings. Staff and service is always excellent and the food is to die for, never a complaint.

This is an older pub and you won't normally see too many of the younger crowds here. The food is okay but I would prefer to eat elsewhere before I get there.

A group of us stopped in here for early in the week to discuss some important business. One of our group was a bit eccentric and I admired how our server handled him. The service was great, and some of our food items were fine but the chicken wings were bloody awful. There is no more accurate way to put... More

Attended 17 Dec 2015 at 5pm for dinner. Right away saw the beautiful Christmas tree, other season paintings and nicely decorated for this time of year. It gave a pleasant scene with decor and not the usual dark colored pub atmosphere. We got seated in good time to a upper floor table with sufficient room around. The cheerful waitress came and... Attended 27 Sept 2015, 430pm for drinks and dinner. Met a mild nice cordial waitress new to the pub so asked name, Lorretta from Manitoba. Glad she likes the pub work and the city. We ordered drinks on special then ordered different styles of hamburgers. This waitress asked us in just the right time for drinks which we appreciated and... More

I made the mistake of ordering calamari which requires a bit of skill to cook properly. That skill was lacking making this dish quite rubbery. I should have ordered the chicken strips, those would be pretty hard to screw up.

At around 8 dollars a meal, tried deluxe burger and the beef dip and fries, both were pretty good. Service was great and nice that the chef brings you your meal. Pretty relaxed atmosphere.
