My husband and I frequent Masalas almost every Friday night. Serge and Shushma, their children and staff are all wonderful. We have tried almost everything on their menu and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh and delicious. If we want something a little extra spicy or to try something different, Serge is always happy to accommodate. The buffet... More

Once a month I travel from Winnipeg to Thunder Bay for work. I love these trips because it means I get to stop in Dryden for a meal at Masala. I get the buffet every time. I recommend it to anyone traveling in the area. Masala's has something for everyone. They do their own version of more "North-American" foods, like... More

Travelling across northern Ontario, we were pleased to find tasty ethnic food in a relatively small town. Staff were very friendly and generous. Our entire family really enjoyed the butter chicken found on the buffet. Food was hot and fresh. A pleasant dinner in a small town. We arrived in town late (7:20) and we were finished dinner by 7:45... More

Although we had not planned to stop in Dryden on a recent trip home from Winnipeg, a very pleasant surprise of this stop was a visit to Marsala Restaurant. Our various road trips across parts of Canada and the United States have taken us to numerous small communities and we can safely say that we have never been as pleasantly... More

Masala's dinner buffet is on point. Includes about 15 dishes. A good mix of traditional and Western style Indian dishes. They change up the dishes each night, so you're always in for something different, but their famous butter chicken stays put. If you're a newbie in the world of ethnic food, the staff will make a solid effort to explain... More

We chose this place because of the reviews. I will say the restaurant was somewhat clean and smelled aromatic. My friend had 2 dead beetles in her food so grosse, Not 1 but 2. NEVER again no thank you.
