I had come to this restaurant for the first time last month and I had looked it up online after hearing about this place through word of mouth. I had looked upon many reviews and there was some good, some bad as usual, I decided to give it a try so I brought a couple of friends with me. When... More

I have been a customer of this restaurant since they first opened. I loved eating there when they first opened and even had take-out several times. The pastas are good - a bit skimpy on the noodles in comparison with the vegetables, meat, sauce etc. Pizzas are VERY delicious and very authentic - best menu items they have. Last time... More

Never been disappointed with Nonna's! Their dishes are prepared with that Italian flair, always very tasty and there's always plenty. The pizzas are stone oven baked and made to your liking. It's hidden in a corner of a plaza so not very visible from the street, but once found you'll be pleased!

Okay, I have been here twice and loved it both times. The menu is true to Italian cuisine. My favourite is the veal sandwich... for $7.50 they give you a crazy portion of tomato sauce covered veal on a panini. I don't have a problem, generally, finding really good authentic Italian food in Toronto ( I do have a hard... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend, so we stopped in and gave it a try a number of years ago. We've returned numerous times since, sometimes with friends and sometimes just the two of us. The food is always very good- flavourful, quality ingredients, good portions and nicely prepared. I tend to 'wander' through a menu, so... More

Despite what i saw in other reviews, we have never experienced bad/disrespectful service. The family and I comes here probably around once a month and enjoy it every time. The house salad is one of the best in Markham; fresh and lightly dressed with homemade croutons. I had the Penne al la Vodka last time I went, the sause was... More

My Wife and I were here for dinner for the first time and found the food quality very good, The portions are large so don't over do the appetizers and still expect to finish your main course. We noticed since it was a Saturday that many regulars booked reservations. The bill for a party of two with a bottle of... More

ate there one evening.... service was slow.. waitress had no personality or people skills. i asked about their blackened fish special she answered me "did you not know it is spicey ?" I thought that was kind of unprofessional to say. Most Italian restaurants serve bread with meals...they did not. No return to table to ask if drinks needed to... More

Yummy, delicious, mouthwatering food. You can whip up your appetite just by walking in the door, it smells wonderful. The food is always good, although the service can sometimes be sketchy. We have had great service but on some occasions we were faced with grumpy staff. Luckily, they also do take out.
