We had a big table of 7 come to here on Saturday night. My i laws got there 15 minutes early and got a table. When we arrived the waitress seemed very mad that we took so long to get there. Yes it was busy, but no one was waiting for a table when we arrived. The waitress took our... More

Apart from the accents, this is the closest thing to an English "fryer" around. There's no poutine or sushi here, just well-cooked cod, halibut, and haddock (plus maybe the odd shrimp!) and great chips. The take-away is open to the fryer and the meals are served in real newspaper. The paper is clean and unused, therefore, I suspect, environmentally friendly.... More

Stopped in for lunch, and as usual C-Lovers did not disappoint. Great location on Lougheed Hwy close to Coquitlam Centre and Save-on-Foods. I had the AYCE (All you can eat) cod and chips, which comes with about 6 smaller pieces of cod and a good portion of chips. Fish is excellent, batter not to thick and definitely not greasy. Also... We are always on the lookout for good F&C. This is some of the best fish & chips anywhere! We don't live close by any more but when we head that way on a day out - we will arrange the day so we get lunch or dinner there.

While we enjoy many of their fish and seafood offerings, must admit that the AYCE (All You Can Eat) Cod Fish and Chips for $11.99 is wonderful family favourite. (side orders for Battered Prawns, Mushy Peas and Coleslaw are not unusual). The cod pieces provided are smaller sized than seen with the regular one or 2 piece orders, but taste... More

C-Lovers have the best Fish and Chips in town. They have been in our community (Pinetree Village Coquitlam, B.C.) since 1984. It is a family owned/operated business. They are supporters of the B.C. Children’s Hospital Foundation and have raised through the generosity of their customers $86,000 since 2003. The restaurant has an open concept kitchen giving you direct contact with... More

Best place in Coquitlam for fish and chips. The all you can eat fish and chips is great value. Simple décor, good service.

My parents highly recommended this restaurant - it's their "regular" and they are fish and chip experts. I go anytime I'm in the Coquitlam area - their fish and chips are always fantastic. Very lightly battered, perfectly cooked. Prompt service, piping hot food. Their popcorn shrimp, prawns, onion rings, soup, and mushy peas are all very good. They serve the... More
