Yeah, I do like their chocolates and pastry, but not enough to make me want to get into long lines and being shoulders-to-shoulders with other customers within a cramped space. I almost think that the store does this on purpose to get across a certain image--that they are so good that customers will do anything (paying high prices, fighting through... More

It's out of the way, crowded and impossible to find a parking spot, but Thomas Haas Chocolates and Café is my favorite place to get something to eat in North Vancouver. The ciabatta sandwiches are delicious, the desserts are unmatched anywhere, and the coffee is always superb! What else can I say? :)

Best Almond Croissant in the entire world, and this is not an exaggeration! Great sandwiches, not a place you would want to sit down and dine, take out is the best route to go here.

Special occasions my husband buys me chocolates( albeit expensive) but every Christmas and Easter I buy the stollen which is bread stuffed with fruits and nuts and at Easter, an egg!. I haven't had it yet but I am told their chicken sandwich is wonderful for lunch. Just be sure you get there before 1 pm.

Being a cappuccino bar and Patisserie with limited seating, Thomas Haas North Vancouver is not the first place on my list for a meal or coffee with a group of friends. However, if two of us feel the urge for an indulgent bite or if we're dining at home and want a luxurious finish, Thomas Haas delicacies are perfect. I... More

My husband and I go to Thomas Haas about once a week to enjoy time out and our favourite coffee. The double baked crescents are so good. Yes, the price is up there, but we share one and it's worth every crumb. We don't mind the small space, although we hope TH will expand to larger facility some day. And... More

Thomas Haas makes fabulous chocolates and patisseries.. The actual coffee shop is very crowded and often hard to find parking. Walk there if you can! Wonderful but pricey!

This is an amazing place to go for sandwiches, pastries and chocolate. AND the tea and coffee are great as well. In addition, the chocolate is organic and fair trade. It is my go to place for Christmas chocolates for everyone on my list. It is very busy, and if there is no seating, the shore line is very close... More
