I think the chocolates here are phenomenal. Amazing flavors from your classic milk to more exotic Lime-Cachaca. Beautiful seasonal chocolate show pieces as well. But the pastries here don't deliver the same wow factor. Hard to find parking and seats at times, but still worth the visit!

If you're a chocoholic, like my husband, you'll love the enticing chocolate confections prepared by Thomas Haas! Although you can get sandwiches, we've never done so. For that reason, I'm not going to give it my usual restaurant rating.

It's an excellent patisserie. Its not far from my work so I swing by often. They have excellent coffee and hot chocolate. My favorite food items are: 1. Double baked almond croissant (or simply called double baked). 2. Any of the macaroons, they are so crunchy and soft. 3. Curry chicken sandwich. 4. Any of the chocolates.

Have been here many times over the years, and this is hands down the best place in Vancouver for chocolates, desserts, and pastries. The quality, variety and consistency just can't be outdone. The coffees and drinks are perfection, the desserts are to die for, and the handmade chocolates are worth sabotaging your diet for the day! I just can't give... More

And a purveyor of WAY rich chocolate confections, good coffee, but only so-so bakery items, such as croissants. Quite out of the way and a chore to locate with too-little parking, down in North Vancouver's Harborside industrial area, far off the usual beaten track. We are glad we found them, but are not likely to return until we host a... More

This place is amazing. You can't go wrong really...latte's, pasteries, deserts, chocolates, macaron, sandwiches! I've had them all and always left more than satisfied. I recommend this place to all my friends and family. I first discovered the one on West 4th but was happy to discover one on the North shore too albiet its very random location. No lack... More

I love the outdoor sidewalk setting in the middle of summer. Thomas Haas was a lovely surprise for our afternoon break: Croissant and London Fog. Everyone standing in line was ordering the London Fog so I knew I couldn't go wrong ordering it. It was a very aromatic tea (like Earl Grey) with frothy milk and just right amount of... More

Our friends brought us a Tomas Haas gift box for dessert last night. LOVE the travel box and the tasty surprises it contained. We shared 4 individual sized cakes/tarts. We enjoyed the crispy chocolate raspberry mousse, the lemon lemon tart, the pear almond tart and one other? All were delectable, delicately flavoured and a delight to the taste buds. What... More

The cakes and the cappuccino are very good ! I'd go back for the cakes and coffee. Unfortunately there is no much room for parking the car, the place is small, not many seats either.
