My husband and I were staying at the Quay and walked over - we had the Fondue apppy to start // both had grilled cheeses (Dos Diablos & El Cubano) and soup (chowder & chicken Quinoa). The meal was fantastic, service was great - looking forward to our next visit! Prices we feel were completely reasonable and justified.

There are four locations in Vancouver and the north vancouver is the best large and best seating. There is not a bad dish on the menu and the staff is fantastic.

My friend and i had lunch here last week. Both of us had sandwiches with the house salad. My "tastiest chicken" was mostly diced apple with a hint of chicken and bacon. His Dos Diablos was not much more than your basic grilled cheese with a bit of deli meat. Salads were your standard box lettuce with oil dressing. Everything... More

This restaurant is by no means fancy. It is a real atmospheric family restaurant. We go there so that I can indulge myself with an order of their mac and cheese and believe me it is excellent. It comes piping hot, and very tasty, so we go there, I have my fill of mac and cheese and that is it.... More

Try the cheese crullers or the Diablos. Great soups. If you like beer, also very good. Overall, comfortable and friendly and quiet.

Ate here recently with a couple of friends on a Wednesday night. When we arrived we were told there was a 45 minute wait, but we were seated within about 15 mins. We ordered the Brie Fondue and it was delicious. The crab bisque was also good. We ordered a yummy Malbec at about 35$ a bottle that we were... More

They had a great story about them on CBC so we decided to check it out. The food is good, filling, but pretty expensive for what you get. I had the macaroni and cheese, it was ok, my husband had the Grilled Cheese Sandwich. Really a grilled cheese sandwich is something best made at home.

Burgoo is an unusual restaurant, offering foods from around the world, Irish stew, Hungarian goulash and Canadian items. Staff are friendly, portions are huge and the general ambiance led us to visit two nights in a row! The biscuits are delicious!!

Love their stew, especially Ina rainy cold day. The restaurant makes you feel like you are stay in your friends's house, even a fire place in the restaurant.
