We really enjoyed our visit to this pub, especially as it was only a 5 min walk from where we were staying, but the pizza was amazing and the service was really good.
The Raven could be called Deep Cove's only pub, although the Arms Reach Bistro serves a similar function if a bit more, erm, bistro like. As an expat Brit, I like the Raven - cozy fire, a mixture of tables and booths, and the best pizza I've had on the North Shore so far. Good craft beer too - I... More
Certainly an institution in the area with good pub food, some very good music, and the charm of a dated pub that has had a lot of beer spilled on the carpet over decades. Like similar establishments, not the place to go on warm summer evening but great on a cold winter night when a burger and beer are desired.
I recently was there for a few drinks with friends... It's was my first Raven experience and most likely my last.. The bartenders were rude.. The bars atmosphere was dull and boring.. It really seemed like it was too much of a locals bar:( We didn't feel welcome at all!

Thin crust Hawaiian. Very flavorful and not skimpy with toppings. Agree that it's a bit pricey but it is as others note the only... More
Pretty good pub, but the service is not as good. Great atmosphere, and really tasty food but the prices are a bit high. They are the only pub around, otherwise they would have to up their game a bit.
we visited twice, first on a Friday night, and it took well over an hour to get a couple of burgers. The tvs were all showing some kind of wrestling/martial arts and it was too loud to hold a conversation without shouting at each other. The food was fine when it arrived, but not worth the price or the wait.... More
