Good food

We got in and seated quick, made our order, and our food arrived very quickly. The only thing that bothered me was how dirty the floor was, lots of crumbs and napkins, and even some squashed food. Otherwise, very good food and service.

A little slow to get our table due to guests not leaving after paying the bill. One suggestion I've seen is to coffee or a drink on the house at a table outside. Our waiter Brent could not have been more helpful. He was professional to the last! My steak was perfect and he got onions for me that were... More

We were there for a special dinner..however, on other days, it was not the best choices, food not that tasty, and not appetizing to look at...preferred to eat below...before or after the gondola trip. trouble is you always want to sit and eat something. not my choice to eat there on regular days.

Celebrated a 70th birthday. Wanted it to be special. And it was. Even with a mist and clouds outside, inside was warm and inviting. Food was spectacular service was five Star. Will go again soon as menu is regularly changed.

For December with a classy dinner at the Observatory was a real treat. It was overcast and snowing when we stepped off the Skyride at 1,100 metres above sea level. There were plenty of Christmas themed activities and lights with the ice skating rink attracting a big crowd. After a couple of hours enjoying the cold and snow we changed... More

You start with a gondola ride to the top of Grouse Mountain - take a jacket - it's cold! The view is spectacular and the ride takes 8 minutes. After a short covered walk you enter the restaurant. It's quite small really, but the views of Vancouver are unbeatable. FOOD - well, if you like something that is quite out... More

Great food, excellent service, and an unbatable view. We saw the sun setting and the full moon rising at the same time while we ate.

The evening was fantastic, the service was wonderful and food was spectacular. Definitely fine dining, amazing dinner and the wine selection was also outstanding. I would highly recommend to those who love and appreciate fantastic food and wine!

We recently ate at The Observatory as part of the 2015 Dine Out Vancouver event. Although we are life long Vancouver residents, we had never eaten here, so we thought we should give it a try. During Dine Out, the restaurant only offers the three course dining menu ($38), and reservations are definitely required. They make it very clear when... More
