As the meat I ordered tasted delicious and tender, my vegetables tasted underdone. Such small portions, I went to get food elsewhere after spending around $150 dollars. The service wasn't very good, no food quality checks, m waitress said she was getting me water twice and never came back. After letting me know my dish was dairy and gluten free,... More

We brought some friends who had just flown into Vancouver up for lunch. The lunch menu was good, the portions were great... We enjoyed the view so much! it was just a little hard to coral our toddler during a rather long wait to get our order taken and for food to be brought to us. He got a bit... More

I will only hike the grind if there is a promise of beer and nachos at the too. Great food and drink after every time skiing. Sunny summer days are just better on their patio looking out over Vancouver, the Pacific Ocean and even more coast mountains.

The Observatory boasts to be "Grouse Mountain's finest restaurant - taking standards of food, beverage, and hospitality to new heights". For a high end restaurant, this must be true because they are 3700 feet above sea level, the highest restaurant in the lower mainland of Vancouver. The restaurant was in dire need of renovations, maintenance and repair, some of the... More

Only do this on a day with clear weather (even in the evening) ... it will be SPECTACULAR to sit an dine and enjoy the view of Vancouver and Vancouver Island etc. Of course not the cheapest place in town, but then ... this is for the experience, and of course mostly for "us" tourists.

The menu with the exception of desert was excellent. The staff did a desert off of the menu for us as the choices in the set menu were not to our liking. Everything about the experience from the first class service to the meal itself was great. The price of the menu at $60 which included the trip up the... More

We visited her on recommendations from friend having heard that the view was great and the food was lovely, and the good was lovely! The view is what let this down. When we arrived we proceeded to have a look round the attraction side of the mountain, which is great and I would recommend doing this, however don't expect a... More

The ambiance is incredible, as to be expected. Unfortunately on our evening it was cloudy on the North Shore so there was nothing but fog to see once we were more than half way up. However it was still worth the price. We are Vegans, and although it is disappointing that they don't offer any Vegan options (nor Vegetarian if... More

Despite having a hazy day, it was still pretty spectacular to go up and see the sights from the tallest part of Grouse. At over 5,000 ft the views are awesome.

We had our last meal in Vancouver in the Observatory. It really was fine dining, with the food delightfully presented and a real taste sensation. The views just made it that much more special. A real treat and one we will definitely remember.
