Relaxing lunch after Grouse Grind – 3.5+ out of 5 Rating

After completing the Grouse Grind on this Friday afternoon, we headed over to the Bistro for a lunch after 1:00 PM. On this sunny afternoon we decided to sit out on the patio. It was still a little cool when the breeze came by but we sat beside the natural gas heater and it was very... read more

We were planning on completing our Grouse mountain visit with a meal at the bistro. While the location was outstanding we were very disappointed to find out that no assurances of a nut free food prep would be made. This is not the typical response of most restaurants where we have dined. The menu items advertise the vegetarian and gluten... More

As a yearly Grouse Mountain pass owner (for many years), I frequently go to this place for lunch or dinner. The service was slow before, but my last 2 visits in June were disastrous - especially the last one. First you are not let into the restaurant and you are told to wait 30 or 45 minutes outside the restaurant,... More

Had lunch here on a day tour. The food was excellent with very friendly staff and the price ware not over the top. Try to avoid peak times and weekends as it does get busy

As a local who has frequented this spot several times, including my husband who hikes regularly on a Tuesday night with a climbing group, this restaurant has ok food but very slow service. Tonight as we waited over an hour for a simple pasta dish for him and a chicken sandwich for her, we couldn't believe that a meal could... More

We had to wait for a table because, although there spare tables available, the staff were trying to manage the demand as the kitchen couldn't keep up. Once we did get a table and place our order there was a further long wait. When the food arrived it was good. Views from Grouse Mountain are wonderful. Seems to be a... More

Dined here after completing grouse grind. Was forced to wait even though inside restaurant/bar was empty. Once we got seated we moved one seat over to get a better view, manager/supervisor was EXTREMELY rude not only to us,but his staff for us moving. The staff were very nice and helpful. Watch the charge on your bill, we got charged the... More

There is no table in the house without a beautiful view. I came here with my family for the first time, and we loved our experience. The staff was nice, we only waited about 5 minutes until we were seated. We didn't expect the food to be so well-priced. It was all very delicious, and if you order the nachos,... More

Wow - just wow. My husband had taken our daughter up last week for a Daddy/Daughter dinner and I was told that they had an amazing time with Jeffery, the Food and Beverage Manager and server and hostess. So, of course, I wanted to check it out. We went up last night and any or every expectation I could have... More

This place really hit the spot on a cool spring day and we needed a bite to eat and warm up. Sitting next to the cozy gas fireplace, warming chilled bones, and having pleasant service and food was just what we needed. Prices are decent for an après ski menu and portions are decent. Nice enough selections for everyone to... More
