It's all about the view

They do fine pub food - but don't expect much more than that. And really - you're there for the view, right? It's spectacular. Whether you did the Grouse Grind or took the gondola, sitting in Altitudes is a perfect way to enjoy Grouse Mountain after either hiking (good weather) or skiing (winter/spring). Large portions, very good food, a bit pricey but you have to expect that considering the location. Awesome scenery. The staff was pleasant but service was a bit slow. Overall a great spot to have lunch after doing the "Grind".

On a trip to Grouse Mountain with grandchildren, we placed our order for lunch, and we waited, and we waited, and after about 45 minutes our lunch finally arrived. No complaints about the food - although overpriced, it was passable - and certainly no complaints about the wonderful views from our window table. However, we might have spent the rest... More

Three of us came up to Grouse mtn to celebrate a 50th birthday. We had lunch at the bistro. There are a few tables next to the windows, we were a row or two away from the window but there was still a good view. The chairs are heavy and weirdly shaped and not the most comfortable. Food was good.... More

Pretty typical menu. I had the pulled pork sando and my buddy had the hamburger. Competently executed meals. Good enough beer selection - pitcher of IPA always goes down well. Not cheap, but the prices could be higher for a resort destination. You don't come here for the food. We sat on the patio on a gorgeous Friday evening after... More

Had Brunch here of Steak and Eggs which was very nice, although we had no problems with the service received we did notice a lot of complaints from others about wait times for meals and it wasn't that busy.

There are great views but be prepared to wait as the service can be glacially slow. Also even on a hot, sunny day, given the elevation it can be chilly sitting outside on a summer day so bring a sweater or jacket. The food is good with large servings.

We were planning on completing our Grouse mountain visit with a meal at the bistro. While the location was outstanding we were very disappointed to find out that no assurances of a nut free food prep would be made. This is not the typical response of most restaurants where we have dined. The menu items advertise the vegetarian and gluten... More

As a yearly Grouse Mountain pass owner (for many years), I frequently go to this place for lunch or dinner. The service was slow before, but my last 2 visits in June were disastrous - especially the last one. First you are not let into the restaurant and you are told to wait 30 or 45 minutes outside the restaurant,... More
