Came here for lunch after a visit to Lynn Canyon. We enjoyed it! It may not be for everyone - the menu was limited and service fairly slow. However, it's still a fun, unique and tasty spot to check out at least once, and in a central location near the water in North Vancouver. We had a group and sampled... More

Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything is fresh as can be and made to order. Best burritos north of San Francisco, a real North Vancouver gem. Just please promise not to tell too many people! Enjoy!!!!!

Thank you to Chef Matt for a great lunch!!! The salad, shrimp tostados and trio of assorted tacos left us happy and full. Pricing incredible for such fresh ingredients and flavor. Has an upbeat vibe with lots of young families and people just hanging out talking and having coffee. A neighborhood gem for sure where everyone seems to know each other!... More

The tacos are great, so is the coffee. Been multiple times and they have never disappointed. The potato taco is definitely the winner. You really can't go wrong with this place. I just wish it was more of a late-night place. This part of North Van is sorely lacking in 'late-night' hangouts. A place with great tacos and coffee would... More

I enjoyed stellar contemporary fish tacos. The coffee is great, too! The lighting is not the best, but it doesn't matter much when the food is great.

On two visits to CAFCA, I've been distracted by hearing both music playing in the kitchen and music playing in the restaurant. The cook listens to his own choice of music while "mood" music is played through the main sound system. When I mentioned this to the staff I was just told that the cook likes to listen to his... They could definitely do a "best thing I ever ate" show on these tacos! I am not usually a fan of the taco, but driving down from a hike on Mt Seymour, I saw this place listed with great reviews , so what the heck!? I had a pulled pork, slaw and cilantro, and a beef brisket taco. They were... More

I recently tried the fish taco at this place at the urging of my wife. She has travelled alot in Mexico and other Latin countries and she said this was a taco like she use to have when she was in Mexico that you would get at one of the taco stands. I tried it and I too have to... More

Tacos and coffee? Why not, when both are made with such attention to tastiness? The tacos are the standout, and if we could, we would eat here on every visit to Vancouver. They outshine many of the dishes at more established restaurants nearby. My favorite was the tamale taco, which was flavorful, healthy and everything an afternoon snack should be.... More

this place is a coffee shop, taco shop and art gallery...all in one. They do all 3 quite well too! Get a taco and a capuccino for dessert!
