Had a great evening here with friends. Helpful and charming service, rustically funky décor, big bar, cute tiny outdoor patio. Keep in mind that the room can get pretty warm. Will be back.

Have been to this restaurant many times for lunch and loved the fish & chips. This time found the fish to be over cooked, the chips brown on the outside but still undercooked. Service was very casual....said would be back with bread but nothing happened until we reminded her and then when it was brought to the table it was... More

Tittle says it all, knowledge, curtious even when super busy and great food maybe a bit $$$. Onion allergy can create a real problem or tasteless food but not here and the Omari chickpea spread with balsamic and olive oil with fresh bread wonderful

Best Oysters in Vancouver!!! Sorry Joe Fortes!!! Great food, great wine, great service!! Seafood is Fresh and tasty! We had the seafood platter appetizer which included chilled Albacore Tasaki, prawns, mussels and shucked oysters. Oysters where so good we ordered another half dozen and an order of Oysters Rockefeller (which also turned out to be 2 orders) Dinner was Qualicum... More

My family and I tried out this restaurant for the first time about a month ago, early summer of 2014. We went with no expectations but some curiosity as we had seen it but never visited Fishworks. The atmosphere was good but with wood floors the noise level was a bit of an issue, we were in a corner that... More

Everything was delicious and the Staff were very well informed from the kitchen about the dishes in case of any questions. Top Class from start to Finish Hugh And Aislinn From Ireland

This is one of my favourite fish restaurants in the Vancouver Mainland, where I've lived since 1990. Fishworks started in North Vancouver just a few years ago, and its quality has remained quite high. Each time I've brought in friends, they have been impressed. This is the case even for a friend from Halifax who eats fish DAILY. He was... More

I went to this cozy restaurant with my brother and his friend for dinner. This is a very pleasant restaurant with nice surroundings. The service was very good and our waiter was very attentive to our needs. We had clams and mussels as appetizes and both were devine. For our main courses all three of us had the special which... We've never dined at Fishworks before, but it had been highly recommended, so we decided to go there on my husband's birthday. The food was excellent, our waiter attentive & knowledgeable. We were there on a Thursday night & the restaurant was packed!

Very nice smallish restaurant; very friendly wait-staff. My husband ordered the sturgeon, since he'd never tried that fish. It came with at least five or six accompaniments, which combined to make a delicious dish. However, you lost the flavor of the fish itself. If you are looking for creative, slightly complex fish dishes, absolutely go there. If you are looking... More
