Good stay with friends

As our friends live in West Van, and we were in Down town Vancouver, the Seabus is a nice connection to North Van to gets up with each other. The were advised to have Diner here and it was a good advise. Meals were great, service, even it was very busy, friendly and we were not shocked by the... read more

Superb service. Nice ambiance. Great oyster bar. But even by Vancouver standards, overpriced. I will stick with Pier 7 for half price happy hour oysters -$1 each - tasty enough for me. Had a few beers, dozen oysters, 2 oyster vodka shots, seafood sampler to share, 1 Paella to share = $180 with tip.

Recently visited for lunch with friends from Valencia Spain and it was a wonderful choice! The two children with us were very quiet and reserved but our waiter Sergio made them so happy when he started speaking Spanish with them. They were so delighted as Sergio asked what they wanted to eat and made suggestions! The 5 adults at the... More

Had lunch here with my wife and an old friend. Quaint little spot with great seafood. Started with two dozen assorted oysters on the half shell which were fresh and lovely, the were served with a nice mild grated horseradish and a vinaigrette. I had the Dungeness Crab Cakes which were full of crag and lightly fried. My wife had... More

OMG. These were the biggest muscles I've ever seen! The size of a good lemon. And they tasted fantastic! Oysters were very large as well - we've ordered local west coast (ourselves coming from the east coast) My Sockeye Salmon Wellington was a bit overcooked, but still tasted good. But THE BEST of it was the dessert... Poached Pear with... More

Excellent fish food restaurant downtown Vancouver serves fresh caught fish and local oysters. If you are lucky the chef will serve you a surprice at no cost.

We visited recently for a late lunch. Service was good and our waiter explained the menu very well. I went for the tuna sandwich which was the best I've ever had and my girlfriend just had the chowder and bread. It was also quite tasty.

We went there on a warm evening having booked a table on the terrace. The terrace was shaded and sheltered. Oysters to start were good followed by fish main courses - all really well prepared. The waitress was helpful and chatty and we have a lovely evening.
