Try the tuna sandwich

We visited recently for a late lunch. Service was good and our waiter explained the menu very well. I went for the tuna sandwich which was the best I've ever had and my girlfriend just had the chowder and bread. It was also quite tasty.

We went there on a warm evening having booked a table on the terrace. The terrace was shaded and sheltered. Oysters to start were good followed by fish main courses - all really well prepared. The waitress was helpful and chatty and we have a lovely evening.

Gave the place two chances on two very different occasions. One was on Valentines of 2014 and the other was recent. First time I ordered Risotto and Clams, dish arrived 5 minutes after I ordered it which means the Risotto was pre made and the dish tasted like microwaved food. Clams were not fresh, probably frozen prior to preparation. Second... More

I recently joined 23 coworkers for a reunion. The service was the best and I was impressed by how organized our server was----I appreciate that caring for such a large group is a challenge! The food was excellent and the portions were very generous Thank you for a great lunch!!!

Was recommended to try Fishworks by someone in the ferry market, and it was worth the visit. It was quiet and the service for us was very good. Fresh oysters were very good and the rest of the menu was innovative. We had scallops with eggplant and tuna tataki with avocado and mango. Both were well prepared and presented, portions... More

When my daughter first moved to North Vancouver in the fall of 2014 we came here for dinner after we finished moving her into her new place. I wrote a rave review at that time which this restaurant certainly deserved. The food and service was excellent. So when I visited my daughter again this April we decided to go back....It... More

We met another couple there for dinner on a Thursday. It wasn't too too busy and things got off to a good start. My wife had a drink while we looked at the menu. When we were ready to order I asked about some of the fish items on the menu, specifically the cod, halibut special and salmon. In the... More

Went last summer - had fun, recommended it to others - but this week was poor. Poor - extremely poor! service, food was ok but not worth the money. Really disappointing. So sad.

We visited this restaurant on a weeknight and based on the reviews I had read here we were expecting great food and service! The purpose of this review is to maybe bring the rating down a notch or two because we left with the kind of feeling that we would never visit again. They were obviously quite short staffed but the... My husband, in-laws and I went for dinner at Fishworks during Dine Out Vancouver and all ordered from the Dine Out Menu. The food was very good all around. I had the Japanese eggplant appetizer which was smoky and delicious. My husband had the mussel bisque, which smelled lovely. I also tried the Korean short ribs which were also very... More
