Great little tucked away spot for good food

This little place is one of my favorites in North Vancouver. Nestled at the end of a cul-de-sac by the water's edge, they serve great comfort food. Mostly locals know about this place and it's charm! Hike Quarry Rock and then come here afterwards to reward yourself!

A lineup outside the door - a good sign - it was worth waiting for. Food great, service good considering the number of people

Not sure why the negatives from others. We have been there one-half a dozen times and always had well prepared food. There is not much in the way of fine dining in Deep Cove, but coming to the Bistro is a fine excursion to a folksy small town. If the weather is nice, plan your dinner to include a pre-... More

We dropped in at this restaurant while having a walk in Deep Cove with visiting family members. The place looked attractive and it's location at the bottom of the main street (Galant Avenue) provided a limited view to the water and into the adjacent park. The yellow sunbrellas added a further nice touch. We just intended to come for a... More

Food was average. Decent pasta with small servings. We got here on a weekday dinner. It wasn't busy. Service was slow. Views are great but you pay for it. If the indifferent slow service is an anomaly then I can't say I'd pay to find out any different I've been here before for the weekday pasta-beer specials and service wasn't... More

We arrived at 5 thinking we'd be ahead of the rush and should get served pretty promptly. After being seated we waiting 10 minutes before the waitress came over to ask what we'd like to drink. This is unacceptable. After ordering our food did come and it was ok, but not worth the cost. I had the Lobster and Prawn... More

This is a wonderful place in a gorgeous waterfront setting. It is small, unpretentious and classy. The food is delicious, and the service is beyond excellent. Great for brunch on the patio, a lunch with friends, or special dinner.

A cold December day walking at Deep Cove, so delighted to find that the first restaurant we came to gave us a lovely view of the harbour and hills. Food was the real bonus I had an excellent lobster & prawn linguine for a late lunch, my wife had the gluten-free penne chicken. Alex, the owner was really helpful and... More
