Sushi Hachi Richmond 鮨八 only opens 5 days a week. Tuesday to Saturday 6pm to 9pm. Reservations are a must. We recommend the bar seat simply because we like watching the chef is action. Also because he makes really really good recommendations. Like to take a salmon sushi with salt and lemon juice. Yes! You have to try this. Much... More

A small sushi place which keeps turning away hungry and disappointed people with no reservation. This is a small restaurant which you will not have a seat without reservation. Lots of varieties of sushi all fresh with fresh wasabi. Deeeeelicious!!! Value for money. Will visit again... But first need to make a reservation

This tiny little sushi place serves sushi as authentic as I've ever had. The owner/chef and his wife, the only server there, obviously take pride in their little restaurant by providing fresh and quality fare. The BBQ fish head appetizer (I know that may sound weird) was really very good, as were all the other sushis and sashimis we ordered.... More

Great sushi family run restaurant. We eat a lot of sushi and this is probably the best in Richmond. Their pop roll is fantastic! In addition to the good sushi they have a nice selection of tradition Japanese dishes. As some other reviewers have mentioned they serve the sashimi at just the right temperature. Also a good sign that the... More

expensive but fresh. Chef's choice consists of a lot of squid and octopus. Sashimi slices are thin even the plentiful and cheaply available BC wild salmon. ? husband and wife team only so service is slow.Restaurant crammed

This looks like a family restaurant, husband is the chief and wife is the servant. They recommend you to make reservation before you arrive. The restaurant is not big, i remember it were around 4 to 6 tables plus sushi bar. The sushi here is very good, but it is not cheap. Chief choice sushi (assorted sushi) is $20 per... More

We were wrapping up our visit out west and hadn't yet had any of the famous Vancouver sushi. So, on our way to the airport, we stopped here for lunch. To me, it's always a good sign when I'm the only white guy in the restaurant ;) So, the wife and I shared their feast for two. Sushi/shashimi were very... More

The restaurant by this name is currently at 2255 41st Ave., Vancouver, V6M 2A3. (604) 263-1877: We've tried sushi at various locations throughout the city and surrounding area these past two weeks, and this is the best for us. As a kidney transplant I cannot eat raw now, and I ordered the Mango Roll, adding $2 for real crab, it... More

Such fresh sashimi! Great if you are a fan of sashimi that you don't regularly get at normal sushi restaurants. Can get very pricey though so watch out!
