This restaurant has been around since 1994. It is almost considered a Richmond Institution. I started coming here as a student attending Richmond High School. The times have changed but overall the food has been consistent. I enjoy eating the Large bowls of Rare Beef with Beef Meatballs and I always ask for spicy broth. The spring rolls are the... More

We had a delicious, inexpensive lunch here on December 18. They offered a booster seat and kiddy bowls/cutlery to our children, and brought the toddler's food first. Previous reviewer mentioned they take credit cards but as of December 18, it was cash only. This is a real hole in the wall. Feels a bit sketchy but the food was excellent.

Delicious beef noodles Vietnamese style. Soup base is the best 👍. Reasonable price, but the place is a bit too crowded and makes me feel like I have to hurry up and eat so others have a place to enjoy such delicious food.

this is a small little restaurant that moved from Granville Ave a while ago. The new place is quite small, hard to navigate between tables (and I am thin).. food is not bad, and they take credit cards! unlike most Asian restaurants of this class in Richmond.

I have knowb this palce for a number of years and it is really the closest I have come across to authentic Vietnamese food. As its namesake dish, Pho-Lan offers over 23 different types of Pho (Vietnamese beef noodle soup). It comes in 3 sizes: small - medium and large, each are complemented with with fresh soya bean sprouts, lime... More

This little hole in the wall restaurant is situated right across from Richmond City Hall in one of the oldest buildings on No. 3 Road, Richmond.More often then not, during weekdays, plan on a line up if you can't make it there a few minutes before the noon rush. This is a cash only establishment, so take note to have... More

This place have been around for a long long time. I first went here about three years ago and it is a regular lunch stop for myself and colleagues. The owners are friendly and the food is good. For those who are new to Vietnamese cuisine, I recommend Pho Lan as your first.

The first time I tried their food, it was fine. Their pho noodles are not bad, but they're not great. At times, I found it to be on the salty side. And their rice dishes don't always taste fresh. However, for what you pay for, it's not all that bad. There service is generally good and they are fast at... More

Their food tastes wondful but ...... Their premises are a bit rundown. I always hesitate to touch the hot sauce as it is always sticky and you can't help but wonder when it was last wiped??? But overall it's the best around.

Pho Lan is one of the older Vietnamese restaurants in Richmond, and it is one of the best. Pho is one of my favourite foods, and Pho Lan probably gives you the biggest serving in town. Its regular size pho is usually sufficient for a full meal; if you are hungry, order the extra large, and you will definitely be... More
