After reading other reviews we walked over to the Italian Tomato. We each ordered 1/2 portions which are quite large and very delicious. My husband had the spaghetti with a bolognese sauce while I had the spaghetti with the mediterraneo. Both meals were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and the service was quick

Close to the AirPort and the airport hotels. Ths is a very good Italian restaurant apparently managed by an Italian family. The food tastes like real Italian food. Very friendly service. Huge portions (they propose half portions too and it is big enough). You can make your own recipe by choosing the pasta and the dressing. Even if the surrounding... More

We had a dinner at the Italian Tomato in Richmond. What a great surprise. Excellent food, tasted like the real Italian homemade deal. Good service, very friendly.

We’ve been here before, but quite a few years ago. The same waiter was there and recognized us from our previous visits. How nice! I had a delicious salad and the guys had huge plates of delicious pasta. We had a very nice time there.

Four of us and a toddler ate here for dinner not long after checking into a nearby hotel from our 10 hour flight. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and our server was good. My husband had pizza which he enjoyed and was a reasonable portion size. The rest of us had pasta. The pasta portion sizes are ridiculously large!... More

All the food that we purchased was excellent! This is a very nice Italian restaurant. They didn't offer salads as complimentary like some italian restaurants do, and the price was a little high for pasta, but the portion sizes of half were plenty of food for one person.

This unassuming restaurant is located near airport hotels. The appearance from outside is lacking, but inside is a quaint and inviting atmosphere. Our hostesses were quite frazzled when we arrived and it took 15 minutes to seat us even though there were many empty tables. It also took quite a while for our waitress to come take our orders. But... More

We've found this restaurant near our hotel near Vancouver airport so we ended having our dinner here. Knowing it's an Italian resto so we opted for pasta. My husband ordered spaghetti and I had carbonara. When the order arrived, we we're surprised how big is their one full serving, it was good for 3 people so my husband and I... More

My family went to Italian Tomato last night and found it average at best. The meals are quite expensive for what you actually get. I saw a lot of people around us ordering a full size (you can get half portion for about 2 bucks less) plate of pasta which make it around 8 to 10 bucks per person. Beer... More

Visited there as a change of pace from the usual Richmond cuisine. Nice decor. Uses a "Earles" staffing model with their wait staff. Efficient service. Food was below par but plentiful. We split an Italian feast. Spaghetti bolognese was spaghettini with sauce mix in. (Too acidity). Lasagna was "mush" on our mouths and held together by the crusted cheese. Chicken... More
