Good food, well priced

Eight of us, including two children, ate dinner here on a Friday evening. One of our companions is ethnic Chinese and was able to guide our menu choices. Everything was delicious and service was excellent. Our menu advisor declared the cuisine was authentic Cantonese. The bill was a pleasant... read more

Food was so good, my wife wanted to go back the next day for dim sum. I was not disappointed. The restaurant even reimburse you for parking. Make sure you get at least 2 hours of parking, it will take that long to enjoy your dim sum.

Even with a reservation, they'll make you wait. Reception staff needs a little more training in customer service. Food was good was is overshadowed by poor service.

Geez, even on a weekday it was an hour and a half wait for a high end restaurant, economy must be good here. They offer the usual staple dim sum choices and many that are specialty items. Best for the unusual Cantonese style items that you don't find elsewhere. Review the menu and then they come and take your order.... More

This is a restaurant I frequented in Vancouver. The dim sum quality is among the best here and the price is very reasonable. It's better to make reservation on weekends as the wait time could be quite long.

An excellent variety of high quality dim sum. We arrived promptly for our 12:15 reservation and was immediately seated. It was a Saturday and the restaurant was packed. The staff were very attentive and efficient. The dishes are very fresh and tasty! Highly recommended for large groups so you are able to taste the broad assortment available. Reservations highly recommended

Serves traditional Cantonese dim sum at a reasonable price. We ordered har gau, siu mai, roast pork bun, beef noodles, fried dumplings all very tasty. Recommended is the durian mochi (cold dessert dish) if you can stand the taste and smell of durian. Service is good and tables are spaced out so you don't feel the crowdiness of traditional dim... Growing up in Richmond, Kirin has been one of my all-time favourite Chinese restaurants. They have been operating for over 20 years and have kept their standards quite consistently. Yes, the prices may be slightly higher , but you can really tell that the quality is much higher compared to many other similar restaurants. The seafood is fresh, the wraps... More

Went there as a group for dinner and ordered the set menu, the food was great but service was actually too quick, we had barely finished one dish before the next was in front of us. The lobster in cream was nice but dessert was a bit boring. Found that if you want a long leisurely dinner this might not... More

Kirin Seafood Restaurant is as good as the best in Hong Kong. Kirin was recommended by a local merchant as the best Chinese restaurant in Richmond, and even in Vancouver. Service was attentive and helpful. I ordered the black cod dish, which came with three small fried fillets and sauce. Although it was delicious it would have been much better... More
