typical Chinese dim sum fare

We love eating here for dim sum and king crab. The dim sum is traditional but very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the baked bbq buns! We also had kind crab 3 ways ( steamed, fried, and rice) and it was spectacular. It's expensive but well worth it. I think they make the best king crab.

Had a great dim sum lunch the other day. Prompt service, good variety, great flavours. I would definitely return.

My husband and I love dim sum. It's not something you can find everywhere, but we look for it any time we're going to an area known for its Asian community. We thought we'd find it in Vancouver, but surprisingly the best place we found was in Richmond. We showed up, got our names on the list, but had to... More

We ordered the two course 7.5 pound king crab dinner. The bill came out to $380, which is on the high side, but okay for the season. While the food was okay (not spectacular though), the service was terrible and nonexistent. They are supposed to change your plates frequently when king crab is ordered, this did not happen until we... More

We dinned at this restaurant every time we come to town. The foods are consistently very good. The roasted squab is one of the best in Vancouver ....Hong Kong... or even LA Fresh giant clamp sashimi is yummy. Bird nest with sugar cane for dessert. Nevertheless....the services earned an C grade. We specifically asked the waiter not to bring all... More

This place is always consistent no matter when you go. It's no wonder this restaurant has been here for as long as it has. The food is well made in well sized portions and is received hot and fresh, each and every single time. If you eat squab, you have to come here because this is what they're originally known... More

Based on the TripAdvisor reviews, our family (wife and 12 year old son) rode the skytrain from downtown Vancouver to Sun Sui Wah in Richmond and we were not disappointed. The food was fresh and some of the best dim sum we have had. There are no carts which may detract from the experience for some but the food more... More

Not as good as Kirin in terms of quality of dim sum. Must try the chicken rice in a steam pot. They are changing to a new owner in Nov 2014 after all these decades. Hope the quality remains.
