Service was very good - although I think we were literally the only table in the restaurant when we were there (we were there for a very early dinner - around 5 p.m. - on Labor Day). Food was good - I had cod (delicious), a couple of members of our party had burgers, which they loved. One fellow had... More

I don't know what some people see as this being good service. I don't care how much the server smiles at you, slow service, bringing out dishes that are improperly cooked, from raw to burnt, the wrong items, over seasoned. This is the territory of a good server. Over the years we have eaten at Richmond, New Westminster, etc.

Waitstaff was very knowledgeable, I had the halibut and it was very good. My boyfriend had the sockeye salmon and it was quite distasteful. I had a piece and it tasted old, certainly not fresh; it even tasted "fishy." We were compensated for the salmon with a free dessert.

Short walk from our Hotel (River Rock) to the Boathouse. Our hotel gave us a coupon for desert, thanks. Had a good meal, started off with calamari, which was very nice, a bit of a kick, certainly not too much. I then had the Coconut Cod, which was fresh, my wife had the seafood pasta, which I tried a couple... More

Just got back from a business trip to Vancouver. It was a whirlwind time but one night after the dust settled I found myself seated in the hotel restaurant of the Westin (out at the airport). Well the place was nice but hotel restaurants always made me a little skeptical . .. So I looked out the window and saw... More

The was just a short walk from our hotel and the front desk clerk recommended this. For dinner I had the swordfish blackened, topped with mango chutney and a side of rice. The fish was cooked to perfection and the dinner was excellent. Dinner for two with drinks $115.00 with drinks.

I had a great waiter and everyone was friendly. While I really liked the bread, the food was just 'ok'. I had a salad and a halibut. It's hard to mess up a salad, but it wasn't great. The Halibut was a bit overcooked and didn't have much going for it for $40.

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful lunch here. My son has some dietary requirements and our server Ruth cheerfully answered all our questions. The oysters were delicious, and the fresh fish that followed was exceptionally well prepared. We ate outside and had a wonderful time!

My husband and I ate here because it was advertised in our hotel room guide at the Days Inn. There was also an ad for a free desert on our room key. The drink list was extensive and the cocktail list all had photos which always help me choose a drink. I had the Red Thai Mussels and my husband... More

My wife and I were staying at the Delta Vancouver Airport hotel for one night prior to a flight the next morning to Toronto. The restaurant attached to the hotel is Pier 73 which wasn't to our liking. We were advised to go to The Boathouse by the receptionist. It was a 10 minute walk, 15 at the most if... More
