Great lunch after the outlet mall

Had lunch here with a friend after checking out the new outlet mall at the airport. Good lively and friendly atmosphere, and nice to sit on the river watching float planes come and go. We had the halibut tacos which I recommend, the fish was fresh and not over-cooked,they were topped off with... read more

Worth a visit. Breakfast, lunch or later in the evening... a more lively pub like atmosphere. I have been coming here for years. Food & service always good. Its right on the river with float planes taking off.

The flying beaver is actually inside the Pit Meadows terminal where the hydroplanes from Harbour Air arrive and leave (I love planes). Yes, you get to see them up close while you are having a couple of drinks and some appetizers. As far as food go it has the usual platters, burgers and lots of martinis. Great for after work... The place was packed, which is usually a good sign, but it was very noisy and the service was poor. The water and sodas tasted like chlorine (the sodas either from the water they are made with, or the ice) which meant a waste of drinks. The beef dip sandwich was chewy and not enjoyable. The service was unimpressive. Maybe... More

Standard pub fare, but really nice surroundings. Sit back relax, chill with a pint, while watching the seaplanes take off from the middle of the river. The pub is located at the dock where seaplanes take on and let off passengers. The "landing strip" is further out in the river, so you get watch them take off and "land".

This is such a unique place to visit. Close to the airport and situated right on the Fraser River, you can watch all the sea planes take off and land on the surface of the water Witness Planes equipped with pontoons make the most dramatic landings on water. At the same time enjoy a refreshing beer and great food.

Great atmosphere. Very busy place for a week night. Go early to get an outside table if you want to watch the planes land and takeoff. Wings were very good. Prices are reasonable with daily deals. We went in the evening, but I think lunch would be just as better for the port. Supposed to be a breakfast spot as... More

Great place for lunch or dinner. Sit back and relax as sea planes are landing 50 yards from where you are sitting. They pull up to a ramp and a gate goes across the road so a forklift can come and lift the plane out and take it to the hanger. Once the plane has gotten across the road the... More

Great ambience, lots of staff, good food, and a terrific view. We thoroughly enjoyed the time spent there. The service was exceptional, food arrived very quickly, and was really good. Highly recommend this bar & grill, but be prepared to wait - well worth it .
