Fun location right on the Fraser River and part of the seaplane terminal. It can be noisy from outside and inside noise. The food is average pub fare. The burgers are large as are the portions. Breakfast and Sunday brunch are popular and it's hard to get a seat sometimes. It is a popular drinking establishment but leave your car... More

Food was great, however the location can be extremely crowded and you are on your own to find a table.

I was taken here by my friend in Vancouver, en route to the airport to catch a flight back to London. It was very busy, but we were lucky to find a spare table straight away. Almost immediately, we were approached by a friendly waitress who handed us menus. I opted for the Buffalo chicken wrap, listed as "Crispy seasoned... More

This is the 1st stop for me every time I go to Vancouver the food is great, the service is good. I love watching the float planes take off and land. Good beer and great food.

We asked a server where we could sit as we had a minor with us. She told us this was a bar and the rule was to seat ourselves. I get that, but groups with minors are usually limited as to where they can sit. We grabbed a table near another group that had kids. Our server brought us water... More

The best part of this place is the fact that its part of the seaplane airport right next to Vancouver International Airport and you can watch the seaplanes land and take off. However, you need to be seated next to window, and the place seems crowded enough that you probably have to be lucky to get a good table -... More

Like I said the food is average but the location makes it a nice place to hangout on their patio especially on sunny days and warm nights by the water. It can get pretty busy and loud but what do you expect from a bar & grill.

Great pub outside Richmond downtown on the river. We went twice during our stay in Richmond and like it very much. Their burgers and beers are perfect for my taste.

Visited the flying beaver for lunch. $ 15,-- for a shrimp salad. 6 tiny shrimps. Taste was good but this is a rip off. When I mentioned that the taste was good but that the amount of shrimps was a bare minimum, the bartender walked away and did not respond. He came with the bill.

If you love seaplanes, this is probably one of the best places in Vancouver to see them as many seaplane companies use the terminal and dock attached to the restaurant. The Flying Beaver was a mandatory stop whenever I flew out of the YVR South Terminal (usually to fishing lodges on the Central Coast). Nowadays as an expat-Vancouverite, whenever time... More
