This is not just a pub but a restaurant worth going to

Located close to the airport, the Flying Beaver came highly recommended from all the staff att he airport. I was excited as the Flying Beaver is the float plane terminal for Harbour Air. Our whole group was looking forward to watching the float planes land! We enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the patio and watched the planes land. Dinner was... More

I found out about this place after eating at the sister restaurant, The Flying Otter, in Victoria. It's a bit out of the way, so I never had a chance to visit until last fall and I'm sorry I never discovered it sooner!! The food is excellent, the service was great, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Views are superb!!... More

I just started going to this Bar & Grill and I am not sure why I waited so long. My family and I have been for breakfast and lunch and dinner and on each occasion it was fantastic! They have a shuttle that picks you up and drops you off after. Our driver was a very polite young man. There... More

It's been going on a couple of years since we've patronized the Flying Beaver. Recently friends mentioned that the pub is now operated by the Mark James Group and that conditions are not the same as they were so we decided to return for brunch last month. For the uninformed the Flying Beaver is located within the Harbour Air Seaplane... More

Never disappointed by the food, beer, service or anything here. It is where the float planes (pontoon type) fly over to Victoria, If you want a seat for lunch get there at 11:30 LATEST. If you go at noon usually no tables. Float planes fly in and out it's kinda nice. Food is good, atmosphere pub nice. Out of the... More

This is a must see. It is always jam packed. Get there early if you want a seat with a view. Usually only locals know about it. Daily dinner specials Mon - Fri.

Watch float planes settle as you eat. This is kind of a sticky-table pub, with ALL kinds of customers, and a real demand for tables! Our meal was excellent! It was a fun experience on a sunny day. The patio allows smoking - fortunately the smoke blew away from us.

Excellent food and friendly efficient service at reasonable prices. It was busy so we had to wait (not long) for an outside table but it was worth it for the wonderful view - with the bonus of seeing sea-planes taking off and landing on the Fraser River. Will definitely go back when we next visit Vancouver.

Fun family friendly restaurant on Fraser River. Big attraction is watching floatplanes taking off and landing. Decent menu, best gf ciabatta buns for burgers and sandwiches. Wing night on Wednesday, also have good salads and tuna tataki.
