I've visited tapenade in the past, but we decided to check it out again for dinner on "date night". The menu is new and exciting; everything sounds tasty. We ordered the octopus to share as a starter, I had the tuna and my husband tried the sous vide shortribs. The octopus (I've been spoiled by gordon ramsay and now have... More

Chester (currently dog sitting) , Susan and I went to Tapenade, sat outside in glorious weather on the patio. Chester was served his water first. We enjoyed a couple of caipirinhas, a superb salmon dish. Then I went backwards n had a fantastic foie gras plate, with some vino blanco. Superb service, as usual, thanks to Vince and his entire... Happy Canada Day. After spending most of the day enjoying the events, we decided it was time for lunch. I had a nice seafood salad and my wife had the shrimp sandwich. The food was good and the outdoor patio was a fun place to people watch.

Great service, but the food left a lot to be desired. Ordered 3 mains...send 2 of them back....not normally a picky eater. Short ribs were all tasteless and very "fatty" and with little, to no taste...as for the salmon, it was almost raw...way undercooked. As others have stated...perhaps a little expensive ( but that is up to the individual), and... More

Very expensive practice entree's - potato salad with Albacore tuna? How how can you dry out short ribs? I had wanted to spoil my husband before Father's Day, but such limited choices on the menu and everything was just so disappointing. Great location wish such potential. Put in a tapas menu, hire a guitar player. Cook Good Food! I'm local... More

PJK thanks for the comments. we do change the menu 3 times a year and the summer menu which you had is a bit more streamlined than our winter menus but at 25 items still some good choice. the fall menu will be out in september thanks More

I was excited to find bouillabaisse on the menu. It was just ok. It was mostly fish and the fish was very overcooked. The fish tasted good, but was hard! The sauce was boring. It came with a piece of bread garnished with a sweet bland sauce. Service was friendly and good. Wine was good. Food was good, but overcooking... More

Have enjoyed past visits but has been a hit and miss on menu choices. Our last visit in May, was a bit disappointing. Greeted by friendly restaurant owner and seated quickly, restaurant was not busy, empty tables through the evening. Server was polite when presenting us with menu specials. After drinks were brought, we ordered appetizers and dinners, My family... More

Last year, I had brunch here and I liked it so I decided to come back. I reserved my table through OpenTable and I requested for a window table. When I arrived, there was an open window table but not clean yet, so I was seated inside. I asked to move afterwards. I don't think they even look at my... More

We ordered 3 main courses: Duck Breast, Braised Veal Cheek Parpadelle, Albacore Tuna The duck breast comes in 2 pieces, I find duck quantity is a bit small but the meat is tender and juicy. Duck skin is crispy. My favorite is seared Albacore tune. The tune is not tried. Some other places uses pepper and garlic to mask out... More
