As a solo traveller I found this cafe a nice place to stop. They were really accommodating with all the customers that arrived whilst I was there. I asked if there was another umbrella as there were only 2 out and one was put up for me. I only had their feta wrap, which was delicious, and a... read more

We wanted a quick lunch, the patio looked inviting but the empty seats should have been our first clue. Service was friendly. I ordered a hamburger, my mother a Halibut burger. My burger was petrified on the outside and raw inside if that's even possible. My mother's "halibut" burger - a mystery puck of pencil thin minced fish. We each... More

Cimona is easy to miss. It is on the land side of a waterfront street, above street level, with a large patio. I have been there many times with friends for lunch or dinner, and for an occasional family breakfast. As I am a salad nut, I can say their salads are good EXCEPT for the fact they don't provide... We were entertaining guests from Calgary with a total of 4 adults and 5 small children and wanted to take them to one of our favorite café type of place for breakfast. The staff was very accommodating for a busy Sunday morning and we were able to get two tables next to each other. The food was amazingly hot and... More

Can be crowded as very popular and in central Steveston. But the food and the service are worth the wait.

We had lunch here before going whale watching. Good food, good selection and reasonable prices. Not to mention nice patio area in the centre of the town!

We stopped in for lunch the other day and were not impressed. The clubhouse sandwich is usually a safe bet at this type of restaurant but this one was just bad. Deli ham and turkey with very little bacon on bread that was like leather. The ham and cheese omelette was average too. Service was pretty good and it is... More

Food is good, but the service is pretty bad! I had the salmon Benny. It was good, it came with hash brown. Our server asked for drink. But it took so long. She didn't even give us any cutlery, one of my friends mug had a lipstick stain which was disgusting!😁😳 don't they check the mug before pouring coffee?? When... More

Ahhh - Sunday breakfast for lazy couples... there is no better place nearby to enjoy a great omelette and lots of coffee served by busy, friendly servers. I've tried almost all the omelettes in the place - you can't go wrong with any of them. There are line-ups of diners waiting to get in on most weekends. Most of the... More

I am always pleasantly surprised by the food in this little place. It's not expensive, and yet the food has just a little flare. For exampleThe chicken quesadia adds richness with grilled sweet potato chunks, homemade salsa and good quality cheese and costs less than you'd pay at a chain restaurant. Low key atmosphere and friendly service.
