Excellent pastries.... the only challenge is which heavenly taste to pick this time (there will always be a next time, though...) I especially love the lemon tarts...oh, and also banana caramel, and... and... sigh...time for another visit... :)

Once again they outdid themselves. Mini quiches, sausage rolls lemon tarts glueten free cookies I could go on and on. But the best of all was instead of a Halloween cake Kirsten suggested pumpkin pie. Simply the best idea and the best pie ever. From my 21 month old grandson to my 73 year old husband and everyone in between we... More

One of Richmonds treasures, with so much Asian food available in Richmond, it's a refreshing delight to have a wonderful authentic French Bakery in the heart of Steveston. From their amazing croissants to their exquisite pastries and deserts, coffee on the weekend wouldn't be the same without them. They also do equally wonderful savoury specialties like take away soups and... More

As another reviewer has mentioned, The Sweet Spot is not a full-service restaurant, it just has a few places to sit for a pastry or coffee. I started coming here after returning from France last summer and was craving authentic chocolate croissants and savoury pies. Both are amazing here! Display case is very pretty too. It's a little taste of... More

My husband and I discovered this bakery last month and made sure to return on our second visit to Steveston. Everything looks delicious and the display compares with patisseries we've been to in France. I have yet to try most of the items as the coconut macaroons are so good, large and filling. The custard Danish was pretty good too and... More

I LOVE their bakery, but with their regular time off on Monday and Tuesday, sometimes I go there with the door closed and it's NOT Monday or Tuesday. If you are running a business, you should open with a set schedule. NOT everyone uses Facebook to check if you are open today or not. But I give them 5 stars... More

I came into this bakery wanting to purchase two cookies. I was standing in line, and was the next one to be served. The owner- kirsten, did not even ask me if I was ready to order or not, but she helped the other person in line instead of me. I told her that I was in line next. The... More

My daughter and I am Connoisseur of desserts. We have been throughout Vancouver and Richmond trying desserts at all the top bakeries and we both agree this is number 1 on our list.
