Great Fish and Chips

this restaurant is right on the water just off the boardwalk in Steveston. expect a line up as they are always busy, and the wait is well worth it. it's kiosk style with picnic tables.

Probably the most popular and best place in Richmond to go for fish & chips. There are two locations; the original one is located on the wharf near the government docks & the other one in Garry Point (kiosk style). Be aware of line-up and long waits on the weekend but the wait is usually worth it, as the fish... More

Perhaps the staff and the deep fryers were totally wiped out after an extremely busy day. (Stevenson on a beautiful weekend day was a zoo!) Regretfully, the batter and the fries were exceedingly greasy, and the cod was slightly under cooked. Our past two experiences have not been "as good as it used to be".

I have been a long time Pajos customer at the Steveston Wharf location.... I used to meet my mother there on her lunch hour before she retired, and many of my friends worked summers there while we were in college. Every summer we look forward to adding some crispy hand cut fries to our evenings when it is too hot... More

Somehow they consistently serve the best fish and chips in Richmond. The light batter is perfect. The chips are great but way too many for the average appetite. Our favourite.

Heard so much about this place from others. Halibut fried golden brown and nice, light and fluffy. Homemade style tartar sauce that s the perfect complement. The fries were tasty too but be warned, a large is very large and filling! Fried zucchini was unique and tasty but the fish......!

The title says it all... I would suggest if you do try it. Order the halibut not cod. Also when the size goes up from small to large it's mainly the fries you get more of as the fish are super small.

I know a place where I can get the same taste the Pajo's offers, but not for this price! I often upgrade my fries to a poutine and it's so worth it. They have to separate your order into two containers so they tend to give you way more fries. Worth every visit.

this was my favorite spot for lunch, and to take friends to. I loved how you sit on a boat, and the food comes in newspaper.......gives you that real old English feeling, and the food is sooooooooooooooooo good.
