Best fish and chips in town

I have been to many fish and chips places in greater Vancouver and this is the best of all. In summer time there is always a lineup in front of it and for a good reason. Highly recommend.

When we need a fixing of fish and chips a trip to Pajo's in Steveston is our first place we go. We make a 45 minute car ride just to get there as it is that good. Either Cod or Halibut is good, you can not go wrong with either fish We have found the perfect portion to eat ordering... More

Very good fish and chips served down on the Steveston docks. Summertime is busy with good reason. Picnic tables available.

Pajo's is a stable place to eat fish and chips in Steveston. The fish is always fresh and hot. The use of paper to wrap up your purchase is perfect as the cone fits perfectly into the holes in the tables. You might have to fight off the seagulls, but what ever you do don't feed them.

Enjoyed our halibut and chips while sitting on the fishermen's wharf. Good with the malted vinegar. Reasonable price for the serving size.

We have been to Pajo's at Garry Point many times in the past years and only once to the Pajo's on the dock. The Garry Point Pajo's was our favourite place for fish & chips when it was open. Depending on the weather, they are open from May to September. There kiosk is located on the river, so you can... More

Pajo's has good fish but the fries are too greasy for my liking. As well, the 3 piece halibut and chips at around $20 CDN as good as it is, is overpriced considering you get the meal in a newspaper cone and need to sit on a picnic bench to eat it. For this same price, you can have the... More

Oh, the fish.....perfectly cooked, tender, encased in a light crispy batter! Soooo good. Served piping hot atop real potato fries. Ketchup, tartar sauce, malt vinegar, all the classic accompaniments available. I've eaten a fair number of fish & chip entrees and would have to say this is one of the best. On a sunny day, grab your order and take... More

Haven't been to the Steveston village a long time, and during this one sunny day, I was there for an outing and decided to have lunch at Pajo's. The obvious choice to order was the fish and chips of course, and a side of cold slaw. The fish was fresh, fluffy and done just right. It melts in my mouth... More

This is the best dockside fish and chips around. Unless you are really hungry it is better to split a large order, than to get two smalls. There is free lemons so you can make your own lemonade.
