My husband booked this restaurant for a rare night which we were both really looking forward to. It was good Friday so he booked 2 weeks in advance. We arrived at few minutes before our 20.00 reservation and were left standing in the doorway for nearly 10 minutes before being shown to our table. It took another 20 minutes before... More

We were a party of five adults and pre-booked a table for 20.00 hours. On arrival, we were shown to a large table adjacent to the bar which suited us fine as the main seating area was well attended and quite noisy. Our drinks order was taken and served promptly but our starters were very slow in arriving and two... More

My wife, Angela and I popped in for lunch at Loch Fyne's today. We were met with friendly warmth by Charlie and shown to our table. The background music was good and at the right volume: you didn't have to shout to be heard! We commenced our debauchery with mussels in a white wine and garlic sauce for Angela, which... More

We were on a late morning/early afternoon, mid week drive, and felt peckish so popped into here for a bite... As it was early, there was no problem getting a table...and prompt friendly service. We had the Rock Oysters for Starters............ which were presented well and absolutely delicious. Unfortunately the Main Courses were only 'average', hence only the 3 Stars.

The manager of this restaurant used to be head chef, so is keeping an eye on things from his more elevated position. The staff are pleasant and welcoming, and the fish and chips with tempura batter and twice-cooked chips is tasty. Good choice of wine. Locals like this place. Good for family get-togethers.

I was apprehensive at first returning to this restaurant as my last visit was not a success. However I am extremely pleased to say the service was 5 star, the food was mouth watering, succulent and left you wanting more. Finally the ambience was perfect. We were all impressed by the improvements and hope your success continues. Congratulations to all... More

I had lunch at Loch Fyne (Loughton) yesterday with my husbannd and friend. We were shoked at the joke of the waiter who bringing us a bread basket (white and brown wholemeal) said that the bread colour was matching our skin tone (Im very fair and my husband very dark)! Very bad taste I think! I ordered seefood risotto and... More

Visted here this past Sunday to celebrate our anniversary. We also had a 25% off voucher, so it seemed a good time to use it. I had booked our table online, but being a Sunday at 7pm, l don't think l needed to as there was plenty of available tables. We waited a while to be seated on arriving, but... More
