Took a friend here for a birthday meal and I must say we really did enjoy ourselves. We both had the Calzone which was a real please to have. It was presented nicely and both dishes were hot. It was cooked pretty much spot on, although I seemed to be a bit unlucky and got a lot of chilli's in... More

Visited with family for Sunday evening meal. Sharing starters nice, but arancini were poor, too solid. Mains of salmon and pastas were all very nice and good bottle of zinfandel. Able to use tesco boost so great value as well.

As usual we were served great food. However after waiting 40 minutes for us to have our order taken we were a bit put out. On asking if they had some tomorrow juice we were told 'no' in an almost aggressive manner. Looking a round the restaurant it was clear to see other customers unhappy which seems odd being that... Our first visit to a Zizzi. The food was extremely tasty. I was pretty much full with my chicken dish - POLLO PROSCIUTTO but my husband had the SPIEDINI PESCATORE - from the Summer menu and said he would have liked a bit more, he was still hungry. Our son liked his kids meal. For dessert I had the ESPRESSO... More

I went here with a group of friends (24 of us in total). As we had booked we had a room at the back of the restaurant. The staff did very well managing requests from 24 different people at the same table. The food was very good, well prepared and presented. We ate from the set menu, 2 courses for... More

Recently returned for family lunch at Zizzi after a long gap since last visit. Pleased with the service and the meals. A bonus here is the protected courtyard area for outdoor dining if preferred. Expect to be return soon.

Our party of 7 was welcomed and seated immediately, our waitress was friendly, helpful and very efficient. She took our order straight away and the food was delivered to our table quickly, well presented and hot. She was always aware when serving other tables and ready to cater to our needs. The food was very good - as always at... More

I visited this branch in Loughton recently against my better judgement having been previously less than impressed with Italian restaurants in this country – I could have predicted how formulaic and boring the food was, nothing to get excited about, overpriced and bland. The best bit was the bread and chilli olive antipasti with wine, the rest of the menu... More
