Ok nice

Local chain eatery nice staff well presented food. Kids runaround a lot! Probably gets really busy at peak times. The black horse full size was a little strange!

Zizzi's is a chain restaurant and has a varied menu so plenty of choice. The portion size is good without being too huge but still value for money. The food I would say is always cooked well, tasty, seasoning is on the ball, and presentation is good. However, the service could do with a bit of a talking too... from... More

First visit for lunch Service was good and food was hot and fresh cooked well as you would expect but very good for a chain of restaurants. Many family groups but did not intrude on our space . Good to have a selection on a varied menu Will definitely return

On a recent trip to this Zizzi which has been progressively going downhill for a while reached a new low and we will not return. Starters, Bruschetta was passable, Calamari was greasy and fatty. The kids had garlic bread with this awful sticky brown sauce on which they couldn't eat. Mains, my eldest had what she always has, Strozzapreti, but... More

We stopped by for a very casual lunch today, and were very satisfied with our meal. My partner had the lasagne which had not been baked in the oven as we prefer, it arrived as a portion in its oven-proof dish coated with a very creamy sauce looking rather anaemic. Not the best presentation, however, it tasted delicious and enjoyed... More

This was my third visit to a Zizzi restaurant. On all occasions I've felt that the starters have been better than the min courses. There is too much on the menu and very little of it feels genuinely Italian. There is no need for a pulled pork pizza. My pizza was £12, and while the toppings were nice the whole... More

Took my wife to Zizzi a few nights ago for our 9th wedding Anniversary and I must say it wasn't great. I mean, the atmosphere was all right and the food wasn't bad, but everything was pretty much forgettable, uninspiring and dimly average... The service was ok and we did not wait long for our order but I won't be... More

If your after a nice slice of bread this is the place, lovely selection of Italian breads to start but pretty much from that point on it was downhill, My partner had a risotto closer in consistency to soup than rice, can also confirm tasted nasty. I myself ordered the chicken skewers (marinated in olive oil and herbs apparently) tasted... More

If you like bread then this is the place for you but for anything more complicated forget it. My partner had a risotto more similar in consistency to soup than rice and the chicken dish I had (supposedly marinated in herbs and olive oil) was like chewing an old boot, All in all a lovely place if your a duck.
