What a treat, today ( 20th Sept ) 4 of us ate at La Lapa in the sleepy little seafront village of El Golfo near Yazia. The service was superb, being unsure of the menu, we were persuaded to accompany the fried baby squid with razor clams, the main event was a five fish platter of parrot fish, sea bream,... More

I travel to Lanzarote two or three times a year on business and every trip I make time for La Lapa. Great seafood and warm friendly service. Iker the waiter from Bilbao is expert at recommending the best dishes of the day and what wines will best accompany them! Just ask and he'll tell you what's best coming out of... More

Hi Guys, We went to that restaurant last April. Food is great - so is the service. Very friendly waiter proposed us starters : Octopus (very good) and Limpets ( quite nice but I am not the biggest fan of those). For main he proposed fish plate for two - you will get 5 portions of fresh local fish served... More

Fab experience as a family. We were the only table at 7pm. Quiet night. Great service and food. Kept the kids quiet with colouring and then magic tricks from the owner ! Great starters as sun went down - octopus and squid. Very fresh and tasty. Mains good but not quite the same level. Little lad had king prawns which... More

Went on the basis of the excellent reviews from other customers and we were not disappointed. The waiters were attentive yet unobtrusive. Had the starters as Tapas: Sardines, Garlic Prawns, Canarian Potatoes, homemade fish croquettes, Galician Octopus and a plate of Calamari. My husband and I went with our 13 and 10 year old boys for early supper at 6pm.... More

Visited this restaurant in El Golfo after seeing the good reviews on trip advisor. We were not disappointed. We went for lunch. The waiters were extremely friendly and very helpful. Opted for the limpets, squid and prawns to share between us as tapas and all three dishes were excellent. The limpets in particular were delicious! Portions were generous and well... More

Only ones in the restaurant this Saturday night but didn't care. Watched the sun go down along with the Sangria, excellent fish croquettes, baby squid and mammoth grilled fish platter (for3). Can't say its the best in El Golfo but not sure I'd drive by it unless I really wanted a seat on the beach.

Very friendly, quick service, nice food. Cook off the menu on request (vegetarian). Perfect place for a lunch in the sun.

We absolutely loved this restaurant & ate there several times during our week in Lanzarote. The seafood & fish were delicious. The service & explanation of the dishes was excellent. We loved it especially the honey rum!

Went first time there by recomendation and ever since is my favorit restaurant. Everything is simply great, friendly and profesional staff, fresh, really fresh fish, wegetables and those canarian sauces mmmmmm. The best of all is that is all home made. So if you go to El Golfo and do not go to La Lapa you will make a big... More
