The Swan Inn is a great British pub where you can get a bite to eat throughout the day. With fabulous views over the River Yealm estuary there is no better place to relax and enjoy a glass of your favorite tipple. Our menu is proper pub grub with a varied and seasonal offer. We are not a fine dining outlet with overpriced and undersized portions but offer good English grub at fair prices. We love to cater for family's and welcome man's best friend inside provided he is clean and well behaved. If you want your food and drink dropped into your mouth through a solid gold pipette then look elsewhere.

A great lunch

After a long coast walk, it was a great location for lunch, care needed regarding the tide !. Fish and Chips can be recommended, non fatty crips and sensible portions, coffee is good too.

I often visited the Swan before they had a fire some years ago. I recently did a coastal walk and as the Ship was crowded walked around to the Swan. It was deserted, I thought I'd walked into the wrong place for a while. The rebuild has been done terribly. The rooms have been knocked through to make one large... More

Living fairly locally (25 minutes away) I decided to try the Swan today after a long walk. The location of the pub is really nice and overlooks the creek. We ordered a couple of drinks and 2 pizza's with a side dish, which came to 30 pound. The bar man was very friendly. We waiting about an hour for the... More

Visited last time I was in Devon, and found a very poor service level. I was slated by the management about criticising their "kids" on Trip Advisor, so decided to give it another go. Wish I hadn't. Fish and Chips were nearly warm, and my Pizza was flavourless. The service level was no better and the staff were more interested... More

We come down to Noss every autumn for a week or two, and the Swan's been through a few changesover the years. Reviews seem a bit mixed, but we had a nice unpretentious lunch last week after a really nice welcome from the young bar staffer at opening time ...accompanied by her boyfriend's handsome blue-grey staffordshire terrier, who provided some... Great Little Pub, nice food, reasonably priced, very welcoming of children, we bought a crabbing set for our boys to use off the Quay below the pub whilst waiting for our food and very beautiful views from the Terrace outside the pub.

Found the same welcome from friendly staff, good ales and food well up to good standard. Wonderful views down the estuary with plenty of outdoor seating. Will go again in the autumn.
