Very cozy place with friendly wait staff. Coffee was good and refilled constantly! Great breakfast selection which came out quickly and was very tasty. The place was busy, but we still got right in. Coming from Midland, Texas which has very few quality breakfast serving restaurants, this place was very enjoyable. Will keep this one on my list for a... More

Conveniently located in the shopping village that wraps around the Marriott on the South Shore we had lunch here in Sept 2014. The place was packed but the staff were friendly and the menu offerings extensive. Food arrived quickly and was fresh and tasty, coffee was topped up regularly and always with a smile! Lunch for 2 for under $20... More

I was able to try Driftwood Cafe during Labor day weekend! We came around 10am and was told it would be an hour wait? ONE WHOLE HOUR? Screw that, I was hungry at that moment so we decided to take the order to go and sit at one of the benches around the area. BF got the Huevo's del Driftwood... More

Can't go wrong if you have a coffee while waiting for table. Large breakfasts and extremely friendly service. Corn tortillas for the gluten free needs. $45 for three people plus tip. Went outside to book an activity and food was waiting.

We had the pancakes which are huge! They were light and fluffy, very delicious. Also had the huevos rancheros which was just ok to me. It was more like nachos since it was on a bed of chips, but once mixed together was pretty tasty. Service was great, fresh squeezed o.j. and coffee were very nice. We'd return, overall a... More

We stopped into the Driftwood Cafe because it was so convenient to the Marriott Grand Residence. The breakfast was very good with good food, nice presentation and a very friendly and efficient staff. We were fortunate as we were seated immediately but by the time we left, the was a wait. If you can, go early so avoid any wait...... More

You can never go wrong here. We ended up going almost every morning. Service was great and food was perfect. If you don't want to wait on a table during their busy time (which I never do) we sat at the counter.

Straight forward as the title. I've been to Tahoe 3x this year, I went twice; last year 2x and ate there twice. Food is hearty, staff is convivial, and place is consistent in food quality and service.
