The salsa was the first thing we noticed was really good with authentic fresh ingredients, roasted tomatillos and peppers. It was yummy, like Chevy's salsa from long ago. The portions were just right and you can get grilled veggies instead of rice and beans which was a really nice option. We had two boys with us that had to leave... More

The servers were very friendly and the food portions were generous (especially the taco salad!), but the food was just average and if you're looking for something a little more relaxing after a day on the slopes, I'd go elsewhere. It had a bit of a cafeteria-feel to it at dinner time.

we are from texas so we just hope for above average when it comes to mexican food restaurants when we travel. when we walked in, it was quiet which concerned me since they are located right in the village. The service was nice and the food was actually pretty good. the tortilla soup was yummy. it was also pretty reasonably... More

We stopped in Peppers for a couple of beers after taking the Gondola up to Heavenly Ski Resort. Nice little place - not too busy considering the location. Chatted with one of the owners who was working the bar. Didn't eat but what we saw look appetizing!

We ate at Pepper's twice. The food was excellent. We tried a bit of everything - chips, quest blanco, street tacos, burrito (huge), chicken enchilada and cheese enchilada - and I can recommend them all.

Food mediocre. Watered down margaritas. Waiter very slow to check on us. Very disappointed. Just go for the salsa otherwise there are many, better options in the village.

We ate here our first nite in Tahoe. Prices were a bit high and it was a bit too warm inside. The bill for 3 adults was over $50 and that was for an appetizer of guacamole (not homemade) fajitas for 2 and an order of nachos. All 3 had tea to drink. I would normally expect to pay around... More

We dropped by after skiing while waiting for our kids at ski school. We had some great nachos, salsa and queso. We both had a few beers. They only serve a few domestics and the rest are mexican brands.

This place had a happy hour with good prices for beer and wine but for some reason it did not draw a crowd despite it great location. Maybe it was because of the small bar area but they did have outside seating which was empty after skiing.

Their food is mediocre at best. Not really mexican food. Similar to Baja Fresh, but more expensive. Their waiters are friendly and helpful.
