The Thai Curry Chicken Pizza was absolutely amazing! It was very crowded so the bartender was quite busy making drinks and serving tables, so things were a little slow, but not hateful. The spinach dip is very good, just very small for 4 people to share. Loved the little cast iron skillet it was served it...Adorable!

Centrally located at the base of the Heavenly Gondola, this is a lively place. Live music, outdoor seating with a fire pit and heat lamps, TV's for those needing to watch sports, and good food and drinks. We ate here 2 nights of the 5 we were in Tahoe. My 2 adult children, and my husband. We were all satisfied... More

Base Camp Pizza Co. is located just across the Nevada & California State line (on CA side) in the Heavenly Village Square. We were looking for somewhere to enjoy a quick meal & beverage that everyone in the family could enjoy. We first noticed the entertainment playing just outside the entrance. This can work for or against you depending on... More

Perfect post-skiing food. Very good salads (not the wimpy salads most pizza places serve) and awesome gluten free pizza. For GF folks, they seem to be aware of issues like cross-contamination, which makes it much easier. Only downsides were that it's a bit hard to find the place (there's a sign for it in completely another part of the building)... More

Our family stopped by for dinner on our first night in Tahoe. We liked it, and since we were staying at the Timber Lodge, we ended up ordering to-go meals two other nights. The cheese pizza is decent, the salads delicious. When ordering to-go, we decided to try the pear crisp. It is excellent and tastes genuinely home made. Staff... More

Don't be dissuaded by the crowds- base camp pizza is a fun and worthwhile option in Tahoe! They ARE popular - and rightly so...they make some GREAT pizzas that will please traditional pizza lovers, as well as those who like 'fru-fru' pies with non-traditional toppings and crusts. My favorite is Happy Hour...where they had a $10 special for a (large)... More

Stopped in for a pizza lunch at this place as it came highly recommended. In order to understand the rating on this you have to understand myself and my wife. I would give this a three star and my wife would give it a five plus star, thus my four star rating. Myself, when it comes to pizza, I'm kind... More
