Yummy & cozy

2nd time here. Love this place! Great food, beer, ambiance, and staff. Try the Guiness Stew & the bread pudding. Both are fabulous!! Right up our alley!

We heard about Macduff's from the bartender at Azul. We were interested in the variety of beers available as well as the authentic english pub-style food. Had Shepherd's Pie (YUM) and fish n chips. Everything was delicious. They'll give locals a small discount too!

We ate here based on the TripAdvisor reviews. The food was good, but wasn't as outstanding as I had anticipated based on its reviews. I love pub food, as I find it to be hearty, bold, and down to earth. The food here wasn't as good as the pub food as in our ski towns back home. I had the... More

This was a rare find for me in Tahoe! The place is small but it has character and flavor! The food is very good Scottish/Irish of course but they make lots of items themselves and the quality shows though the food flavor and care. Would go back to Tahoe just to go eat there!!! Onions rings very good... fish and... More

McDuff's is a fun Scottish pub dining experience in a quiet part of South Lake Tahoe. Wait staff are attentive and the atmosphere made for a fun time.

Ate twice here during a trip to California. Great atmosphere and service. Cottage pie was exceptional as was fish and chips. Worth the search as is set back from main road.

Our group of seven 70yo's chose this restaurant based on good TA reviews, and a menu that looked like it would please everyone. However, only the pizza lover among us enjoyed their meal. For the rest of us, it was the definition of mediocrity. Our food critic ordered Shepherd's Pie, which looked fabulous but was very bland, tasteless, and barely... More

I had the corned beef and cabbage which was the worst corned beef I ever had. I am not kidding when I say it was half fat. The cabbage and potatoes were good and the portions were ample. Judging from the plates going by the fish and chips would've been a better option. Other than salads and pizza there are... More

What a great place to enjoy a beer /drink - location is perfect for people watching outside on the patio - but aside from that - the food is sooooo good. Huge portions so feel free to share - our table had skillet lasagne, fish & chips, and pulled pork sandwich. All were excellent. Service was really great as well.

Thank 1wanaka
