Very Good pizza and " Grinders"

Being from " back east" it's tough to find solid pizza and "Grinders"-------for the uninitiated those are hot toasted sub sandwiches. Vinny's met the test. While the pizza can pass for NY pizza----it's NOt from Brooklyn. The Italian grinder was super------very tasty. The staff was terrific.....

With several decent (although no "Great") pizza in South Tahoe, you can simply cross this one off the list. It is slovenly, dirty, and not in a good way. Try Blue Dog or (better!) Bob Dog Pizza in Myers. Lake Tahoe Pizza Company near "The 'Y'" is good too.

Ordered two large pizza's. It cost almost 50 dollars. I ordered there white pizza which is cheese and it was bland, seriously no flavor. The second pizza was nothing to write home about either. It took forever to cook and was overpriced. I have had better pizza. It's average at best the only positive was the crust!

My husband got pizza here and said it was excellent. I got pasta (ravioli) and didn't care for it. It was freezer burned around the edges and didn't taste great otherwise. My fault for not getting pizza at a pizzeria. The girl that began waiting on us was very friendly and helpful. She left for a break and we didn't... More

We ordered Vinny's Pizza to be delivered. We order the #8 Combo. The pizza was delivered in a timely fashion. Pizza was fresh and hot. Very tasty. We would order Vinny's Pizza where ever we would stay in South Lake Tahoe.

We were staying at the Alpine Inn and Spa and wanted some great pizza. Friends that were with us have stayed here before and so they said Vinny's has great pizza. We called ahead and let them know what time we wanted it to be delivered. They delivered it on time and it was hot and very good pizza. We... More

We had a family gathering and needed 15 pizzas delivered to the house we were renting. A family member had previously worked at Blue Dog and recommended them, but then reconsidered as she felt they might be too overwhelmed with the order & delivery. We stopped at Vinny's in the morning, actually before it was opened...the door was unlocked so... More

I have to say, this place has good pizza. I was not expecting this in Lake Tahoe, but i had a little taste of Brooklyn that was delivered quickly to our room.

Terrific! Vinny's uses local ingredients, makes a great homemade dough, their own sauces. A good beer on tap & wine. While it looks like a standard pizzeria, it's anything but. Go for it!

I've ordered delivery from here a few times, they were very fast and accommodating, I love white pizza and this place does a good one, you can tell the dough is fresh and made in house unlike the chain places, and they offer more variety and exotic sauces and toppings than the chains, as well as an extensive menu of...
