Heidi's provides a great breakfast spot in South Lake Tahoe. While there is nothing spectacular about the food, it is a great atmosphere for a good breakfast.

Stopped in for lunch and had the best burger I've had in a long time. The waitress told me the beef comes from a local farm and it was super good. (not a regular Cisco frozen kind) This was hand made. Service was very good. We'd love to come back for breakfast as the menu looked amazing but it was...

The service was awesome! We thought we were the only customers, as our ancient waitress doted on us for almost an hour. Great menu - lots of good options. The food was plentiful, hot, and delicious! Crowded and very busy on Saturday and Sunday morning, so get there before 10:00. It's our favorite breakfast joint in SLT! ... we ate there...

We were here around 11am on Friday, June 7, and there was no wait. The hostess who seated us was smiling and friendly. Service during our meal was very good, our waitress took good care of us. My $13 Joe's Special omelet was a disappointment. It was large, but was overcooked and didn't have enough meat, onions or spinach in...

Well obviously I came here because of its name, and the fact I didn't want Denny's again. I was pleased that there wasn't a wait and was seated right away by a friendly hostess. I ordered an omelet and was pleased with the size, it was a little undone in places but overall good. I'm not a fan of potatoes...

Great place for breakfast and a wide array of foods. The portions are big and the food is good. We live in Tahoe and had a family reunion here last summer and many of the folks went to Heidi's and really enjoyed it.
I have wanted to eat at this place since I was a little girl. The vintage architecture was fascinating to me. Upon arrival, we were sat right next to the cashier (even though the restaurant was half empty). We overheard the staff's private conversations (they were loud about it). We were hoping for really good breakfast, but the food was...

After an early start from San Francisco we arrived at Heidi's a bit sceptical of the hokey name and look of the place!
There restaurant was clean & large. The great surprise was the food. I had a wonderful fluffy omelette! The kids had fabulous pancakes and a bit. Their Dad daringly had a burger which was delicious. We all...

We stopped for breakfast our first morning in Tahoe and returned the next as well. Coffee was excellent, service was great (never had to ask for refills even for the hot tea drinker!), and the pancakes were light, tender and perfect - especially with the boysenberry syrup. Omelets are huge, and the selections are enough to make a decision nearly...

Do not go to Heidi's! Their food was not "great." I had bisquits and gravy, and the gravy was horrible! Red Hut Cafe has better tasting food and better prices!!!
