Charming and cosy restaurant

The restaurant is really cosy and intimate with a nice fire place . You really feel in the country and on a relaxing weekend when you go there . Great service, especially the son . Food was very 'french' but delicious - hot camembert, cider etc . Greatly recommanded.

An excellent, friendly restaurant, tucked away in a beautiful little hamlet. The cuisine is very specialised, focussing on regional specialities. The father/son partnership worked so well and we were made to feel most welcome. The restaurant is small and the atmosphere very cosy - so book to ensure a table. We had a lovely evening and had a most enjoyable... More

Food is good, very fat traditional Normandy style but pricey for such kind of cuisine. Dining room is cosy and in an old Normandy house in the middle of a quiet and very beautiful village The son hosting the restaurant is welcoming but the father co-hosting appears less nice to non local guests.

Wonderful experience. The restaurant is located in a very nice place and inside the restaurant you are welcomed by very cosy and warm atmosphere. Of course, food was delicious, natural and very local. We were a group of 12 persons visiting and we were very happy with the service provided. Would recommend for everyone.

We stopped here for lunch to break up our journey from Calais to Bayeux. It was worth the diversion from the autoroute to find this picturesque little village. There were 12 of us in total. We sat outside and the view was wonderful. The waiter could not have been more helpful explaining every dish on the menu in detail. We... More

We went to Pierrefitte-en-Auge an evening in September 2012 after a heavy rain. The place wasunbelivable. We were taken by surprise! It was like entering a fairy tale. We enjoyed the food (the cheese-soup was great and the black sausage too), the company of the owner who was very kind and showed us around the place and the magic of... More

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful meal at Deux Tonneaux in August. We were referred to the restaurant by our innkeeper. It is on a secluded country road half way between Honfleur and Livereaux and worth a journey. The food was simply prepared local country specialties, with an elegant touch. My andouillette sausages were fresh, homemade and had a... More
