Having read the mixed reviews of this restaurant, we initially tried Al Volto down the road, which was booked out. Aeolia was quiet, which made us slightly concerned when we entered... A couple of Italian families were there, along with several couples from overseas. I normally try not to eat in restaurants that have a lot of signage in English,... More

This restaurant was recommended by the owner of our lodging in Costozza however we were very let down. Decor is obviously gorgeous and very interesting with massive copper pots everywhere. Food was cold, very unfriendly waitress even though service was ok. I had the Angus sirloin which I was only able to eat about half since it was mostly grissle... More

It is in the former guest house of a villa (Galileo stayed here) and still has the frescoes painted by Zelotti. The outside is perfect for al fresco dining and with the climbing jasmine, it smells like a dream come true. The inside is equally wonderful with the exposed beams, copper pot collection and friendly staff (who speak English as... More

Being Italian and loving Italian food I have to say I was disappointed. The location is worth a visit, but don't stop there for dinner! The service was terrible, the food wasn't good, fresh, nor authentic Italian. They say the make gelato, but the one I got was particularly bad. I guess that Americans visiting Vicenza like this place, since... More

I went here today for lunch for my birthday and was completely disappointed. The food is okay but not exceptional, it is comparable to any other restaurant you find in Italy. The service was HORRIBLE! I live in Italy and I know what to expect for service at an Italian restaurant. First, we were not given any bread or breadsticks.... More

The food is is superb. I always brings family and friends that are visiting here because the Pasta Pouches are excellent and unique. The fact that the restaurant has a wine cellar with tunnels that used to be used by Galileo makes it a fun historical place to visit as well. The problem with this restaurant is the service. I... This stylish restaurant is tucked away in a beautiful part of the Veneto, only 10K from Vincenza. The atmosphere is great, with a lovely covered outdoor area. The prices are very reasonable for the quality, but you can sit in the casual end of the restaurant and have a gelato while looking into the well-landscaped garden. We can recommend!!!!

Probably the best restaurant I have been to in all of Italy. After living here for three years, I can emphatically say that I love this restaurant, the environment, the food and the service are outstanding. A must visit for anyone traveling through Veneto.

The restaurant is connected to the 15th century residence of Galileo. While you are there you can go into the older part. There is a room with the most beautiful hand painted ceiling and below the original walls of the residence which now contains a wine cellar. The restaurant is decorated with hundreds of copper utensils. The restaurant is actually... More

Have eaten here for years but it seems to be slipping. Food okay, ambiance okay, clientele not up to the environment. First and only place I have seen in Italy with a food eating challenge featured on page one of the menu: eat 9 plates of the faggotini and it's free! This is not what you expect in a restaurant.
