The restaurant is connected to the 15th century residence of Galileo. While you are there you can go into the older part. There is a room with the most beautiful hand painted ceiling and below the original walls of the residence which now contains a wine cellar. The restaurant is decorated with hundreds of copper utensils. The restaurant is actually... More

Have eaten here for years but it seems to be slipping. Food okay, ambiance okay, clientele not up to the environment. First and only place I have seen in Italy with a food eating challenge featured on page one of the menu: eat 9 plates of the faggotini and it's free! This is not what you expect in a restaurant.

OMG! If you are in the Vicenza area, you owe it to yourself to eat a meal at Aeoli's in Longare. The Fagottini Pasta Pouches Filled w/ Smoked Prague Ham and Fresh Pear is perhaps the best pasta you will ever eat. It at least ranks in the "best" category for pasta. The setting is fantastic with gardens and ancient... More

My family and I, along with another family went to this place and had a nice time. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, landscaping was beautiful, the service was excellent! We definitely look forward to coming back again! :)

Beautiful fresco's in old building (where you don't eat!!) the restaurant is not in the old building, in comparison with other restaurants, slightly disappointing. When we were there it was full of locally stationed Americans of the base.

I make it a point to visit every time I'm in the area on business. Everything here is excellent. Atmosphere, service, prices and food are awesome. House wine is delicious and baked ice cream is a must! Highly recommended! English menu and English speaking staff is always a plus.

I had heard American rave about this place and the pear pasta, which sounded disgusting...it is isn't. I gave in and guess what, I could eat here every day. Not only is the place beautiful and historic, but has fun menu options. Of course there is the pear pasta challenge, which at times I feel like I could win. My... More

This is actually the sthird time we've eaten at this restaurant. As stated in others experiences, the proscuitto and pear pasta is a hit with everyone we take. The other menu items are good as well, steaks, pork shanks, potato cakes, and salads are all worth ordering. the restaurant red wines are worth buying an extra bottle to take home.... More

Love going to Aeolia, I actually have taken the cooking class here as well. I ordered the pear & proscuitto pasta that they are well known for and it was great.. I have to recommend the Fried Icecream as well.. really good. Their mixed salad is good as well. I normally dont like salads in Italy because of the lack... More
