Even though the menu does not have vegan options the owner and the chef presented a great vegan 3 course meal. They were attentive and the owner went out of his way to make our visit hassle free. The vegan and veggie food is amazing and very reasonable for what we got and our experience we had. Would highly recommend.

My mum, sister & I had the pleasure of eating here on Friday night and we cannot fault it. The food was honestly one of the nicest meals we have had and the staff go above and beyond to make sure you receive the best service possible. The atmosphere was lovely & Salv & Alfio went out of their way... More

You can always tell a good restaurant when you are greeted by the owner, handshakes and welcomes all around and the same again from the staff. A well run place will have great food and service and the restaurant certainly fits this. Wide ranging a la carte or some fixed priced options well priced. Good wholesome cooking. Drinks are a... Restaurants are only as good as the ‘training of their staff’ will ultimately display – Attention to detail, not having to ask for something twice, detailed knowledge of what is being served, and how it is prepared, are attributes that sets aside the good, from the mediocre. I came across one such an eatery last Sunday In the village of... More

We considered ourselves so lucky to stumble upon this beautiful restaurant today. We had a fantastic table in the window with gentle sunlight streaming in, this is no ordinary restaurant, it's clearly a passion and a wonderful creative partnership between the lovely Italian owner and his chef who has been at the restaurant for 17 years. We all opted for... More

Dined at this gem of a restaurant lunchtime today (Monday). Food, service and atmosphere was absolutely first class. The stars of the show for the table were the Haddock off the set menu and the strawberries and cream with a twist! The food is reasonably priced for a restaurant of such high standard especially if you eat off the set... More

We were a party of three and dined on Sunday at lunchtime and all chose from the set course menu. We were warmly greeted by the owner, Alphonso, and he showed us to our table. The head waiter, Alfio, recommended our wine and both were very good . . . he never lets one down. Our starters were Moroccan Lamb,... More

Really good and varied menu, food is of the highest quality and service is attentive. Great for a quiet meal or family occasion, I like their creative take on traditional home cooked food.

I had the pleasure of being brought here for lunch by a friend .Fearing the elitism and often pretentious atmosphere associated with such dining I would usually opt for a more informal dining experience and head to the nearest gastro-pub . However and thankfully all my preconceived notions were duly challenged during my lunchtime visit to St.James. The restaurant itself... More

Always have a good meal here. Friendly, pleasant service with a smile. The owner is charming and although we are "regulars", we are of the infrequent variety. Great food, very accommodating and very tolerant of allergies and food foibles. Highly recommend - great for parties too! A local restaurant that has a warm, buzzy feeling.
