Went to this restaurant to celebrate a Friends Wedding, we were a party of 30 and we were put into a large area at the back of the establishment, the Staff were extremely helpful and attentive, catering for such a large party on a Monday Lunchtime must have been hard for them - but everyone's order was taken and all... Another fabulous dinner at St James. The welcome, food and atmosphere are awesome. It never matters whether you are two dining or a large table, the service is impeccable.

We were pleasantly surprised by our trip this time. After a mediocre first visit this lived up to our expectation. The restaurant was busy, but we were offered a choice of table. There was a lovely atmosphere and staff were attentive. We were offered two menus and we opted for the set menu. Two of the three courses came quickly,... More

If you get the chance go and eat here. The food is stunning, the service exceptional and the wine list awesome. Visit Watford 4 or 5 times a year and we try to go here every time. It is the highlight of the trip. Every meal we have had here is outstanding, cooked and presented to perfection which is only... More

The restaurant and food was lovely and to a very high standard - however some of the serving staff struggled with a large table and openly showed frustration and at sometimes seemed annoyed and a little rude. Definitely go as the food is fantastic but keep your party small as they can't handle bigger groups.

We had a choice of 4 starters, main courses and around 5 dessert choices. The food was Hot and beautifully presented. The Wine both Red and White were of superb quality... More

Despite living in Bushey for more than 4 years, we had never been to St. James. We expected the restaurant to be quiet on 2nd of Jan, but found it to be almost full and there was a nice atmosphere. The staff were friendly and polite, and the food was excellent. I had scallops to start and chicken for main... More

This is a well established restaurant in Bushey. It was New Years Eve and the food and service was excellent. It was the same price and menu as usual. Started with Pigeon followed by Venison then Cheesecake. All superb. Excellent value. Will return soon.
