Mussels were totally awesome and the place is very vibey. Bonus is you can bring your own vino :-) you may have a bit of a wait due to their popularity but hang about as it is really worth the wait!

We went for dinner & the food was so fabulous. The manager, himself, was so friendly & made sure we were taken care of. The food was very fresh & everything was homemade. It's a quiet, quaint place that has so much character. I highly recommend it.

There is an upbeat vibe in this friendly place. We tried the mussels in wine sauce and were delighted, simply the best we ever had. Try also the freshly baked bread, it's out of this world! The kitchen and serving area look very basic, maybe that's what attracts so many people? All in all, good value for money, I will... More

Having eaten their many times I have always made a note to look away from the bustling kitchen...you really can be put off when you see just how grimy the place is....that aside, it's "quaint and authentic"...recommend the the filled croissants, and the java is great. Get in early before the sweaty cyclists come in and moisten the seats though!

Casual restaurant. We'd heard great things but for us it didn't live up to expectations. Menu items are chosen from a blackboard menu. Mussels and Seafood Linguine were highlights. Ricotta salad was good. Butternut soup was too creamy and heavy. Sole was fresh but the sauce was too heavy. Linguine with meatballs was ok. Dishes are very big - the... More

A lot of prospective diners are put off eating here due to the very basic interior and furniture and the inability to book in advance, thereby having to queue. BUT it is just so worth the effort if you want a fun evening with a happy buzz of chat and laughter all around and some of the best food you... More

I was here with friends on a rainy night and the place was hopping. It's small, with lots to look at (including the kitchen, which is right there in plain sight). The bread is from their own bakery and is terrific. I had a pasta with a great sauce; others had mussels (wonderful), fish and polenta, all very good. It's... More
