My wife & I first visited Max at Mirabeau about 4 years ago; we had an excellent meal then, so we decided to visit again last week. (We live 90 miles away -- a bit far of a drive to visit often.) The service was top-notch, and the food was excellent. Prices are appropriate. Our waiter was appropriately attentive. The... More

Great food, great staff and great food! :) Booze isn't all the cheap, but the quality and price of the food makes all the difference. My wife and I's favorite late night stop. We have also done work Christmas parties (~20 people total) and have had amazing service and a wonderful time. One of the best places in the Valley.

We go there quite a bit and the food is always of top quality. I was surprised how good their Clam chowder is (being from Boston I am picky on my chowdah) . The steaks are of good quality and the kids love the burgers and ribs. service is professional but not stuffy and even though they have a cool... More

I'm afraid I would not eat dinner here solely because of the prices (typical upscale hotel restaurant prices), without taking out a loan. Everything is relative, however. Similar prices and similar meals elsewhere, much cheaper cooking that big steak at home. HOWEVER, based on my experience this time and previously, they may have the best Happy Hour in the Spokane... We took my sister in law here for dinner before we went to the Elton John Concert and had a reservation for 5:30. We were there on time and seated right away. We thought this would give us enough time to eat, drive to the arena and park and get seated! We ordered a bottle of wine and our food.... More

The restaurant offers a good selection of food at reasonable prices. We chose to sit at the bar, plenty of room and comfortable. Service efficient offering pleasant surroundings. There were many seated and the many dinning tables in the area.

I have stated at the Mirabeau park a couple of times a year for the past eight years or so and only eaten at max most nights. But this time the welcome was gone and the service was not so good. The food was still good, maybe not so excellent, but I have to say I was disappointed.

Priced like it should be twice as good as it is, the only reason to go hear is during the summer's out door seating when you can watch wedding rehearsal dinners go from bad to worse. If the menu was paired down, I believe this could be a very nice restaurant. But they try to do too much with too... More
